What you're eating. What you're drinking. What you're watching?

Watched a few DVD's lately:
IT 2, was ok I guess, went on a bit. The clown was pretty good.
Dr Sleep, was ok I guess, scary at times. Did not touch the original movie, although some scenes will be of interest to Shining fans.
Midway, great battle scenes, bit jingo-istic, the heroism of the servicemen really came across. Depicted extraordinary cruelty to the Chinese by the Japanese.
Joker Might have mentioned before, probably the best of the bunch, if a wee bit disturbing. Stunning performance by Joaquin Phoenix.

Haha I did the same the other day but had in particular totally forgot the 'hilarious' ghost blow job scene.

That was one! The other scene was the one with Bill Murray and a possessed Sigourney Weaver, pretty sure neither made the TV edit when I was a lad! ?

Had a couple of bacon rolls before 10 this morning with a couple of coffees, not eaten anything since.

Now making a roast chicken with stuffing, kilted sausages, chorizo wrapped in pancetta, more stuffing, yorkies, roast tatties, med veg, sweetcorn and green beans in garlic with a chicken and onion gravy. Glass of McGuigans Shiraz (maybe 3) and the Pet Shop Boys on radio 2.

Just finished painting some walls in my livingroom, so nae lunch or dinner. Sitting with an earl grey brew and a bunch of Tescos own make "nice" biscuits (45p - a snip). Reading the bounce and about to get melted into the night

It did serve 3 on Sunday night, no just me and my son had it again for his lunch yesterday.

Sunday morning bacon rolls used to be a ritual. Tasted even better after a night on the peeve and feeling hungover.

I had buffalo chicken wings with salad and (yogurt) coleslaw tonight, the American equivalent for me, piss easy to make and damned tasty. Fot the thread, served with a pint of diluting lemon and Ricky Ross on the radio.

Made a big pot of soup tonight with carrots, sweet potato, squash, tatties, chilli and had that with a roll.

Busy day with the street soccer meal and shopping deliveries which looked good

steak tonight with kale and some kind of butternut squash creation. Not that fussed by steak truth be told, but wife and lad do.

Wide awake club it seems. Thought I’d pop on and see what’s happening on the cooking front. Been a few weeks since I’ve looked at this thread. Note to self that in future, dinny read it at 4 in the mornin cause it’s made me hank marvin ffs!!

Anyway for me last nites dinner was Chorizo Burgers out of Campbell’s along with chopped red onions and mushrooms washed down with a can of Irn-Bru. Barry.

Away to dream up Wednesdays Menu

Zzzzzzz

Made pork stir fry with mange tout and noodles in hoisin and garlic sauce. It was lovely. Pint of diluting lemon and watched Afterlife, which is great tv.

I have very much enjoyed Afterlife though that therapist gadgie I'd love to knock out!

Was parked up at Bains in time to hear the sound of the shutter going up bang on 8.
6 pies, 4 bridies just out the oven.

These are classed as emergency supplies and first drop off has been made with one more to follow.

One pie had to be demolished in the car despite the serious risk of fall out. Car seat took a dull one ?. Wasn’t wasted tho ?

Wish you a fine day.

Update. Pie, Bridie and Stain for your viewing pleasure.8B84DE95-754E-43C0-979E-906A207A99A7.jpeg

2 Sausage Rolls for lunch earlier.

Seems to be an eating shite kind of day aswell. Just opened a tube of salt & vinegar Pringles.

Pepperoni Pizza is on tonight’s Menu.

Got myself a wee 4 pack of brewdog ipa from the shops aswell so that’ll keep me happy while watching a couple of films tonight.

Tea and home made cheese scones just now.

Thinking of a glass of red whilst listening to Brian Burnett on Radio Scotland.
