What you're eating. What you're drinking. What you're watching?

Proving EG that posh nosh is not always knocked up at Chez 1875's, tonight it was sausage, chips and beans with broon sauce, mopped up with a slice of bread ans washed down with orange and pineapple diluting juice. Deeee.....lish....us!

Sunday leftovers today. Home made soup was braw. Fancy some stodge tomorrow, stovies, I'm a corn beef man with onions, some like it with sausages, not me. Hibs kitchen is giving good ideas, back to you tube. Hibees.

Just had Mash, Green Beans, Sausages and Gravy, Penguin Bar x 2, Monster Munch Beef, Monster Munch Flamming Hot, 1/2 box of Matchmakers cool mint, 2 cups of tea.

Omelette with prawns, mushroom, peppers, red onion and seasoning aplenty. Don’t make them often but that was decent and healthier breakfast than the bread/rolls I’ve been having for weeks.

?

Had my usual vegemite* and cheese on toast brekky and drinking black Javanese coffee from a cafetierre** whilst working.

*when I say Vegemite, its ran out in Morrisons for weeks, so having to use Morrisons own brand yeast spread which sounds and tastes much less appealing!!

**French Press Coffee Pot*** for clarity Emerald Green.

***Glass Coffee Jug for further clairity Emerald Green. :giggle:

I had a dalgona coffee the other day:

Different!

Made a slightly crispy bacon on a brioche roll with cherry tomatoes and HP sauce for lunch. It was that nice, I made another. Washed down with a glass of orange juice whilst perusing the bounce on my lunch break from work.

I had two well fired buttered rolls with Sunnyside up eggs, I love salt too much, oh well. Cranberry juice. Stories for tea. My that egg and butter is a good mix.

Mrs Paignton made a lovely frittata wi' loads of cheese melted on top for our midday snack washed doon wi' a nice cold beer sitting in the sun. Shut ma eyes and I could be on a Costa

YYYYAAAAASSSSS!!! :giggle:

ahem...last night : a chicken breast cut up into wee bits. Half an onion and half a pepper. Chucked them all in a pan. Then added a packet of "blue dragon spicy firecracker stir fry sauce". Cooked them till they looked like they were gonna burn... then put in 3 wee "wheat and white wraps" in the microwave. Then had 3chickeny wraps. I can only heat shit up

which reminds me... there was literally no structure / edging to my pre shower shit this morning.

all becos of Rona and this bounce thread. :0:

Loads of tomatoes and olive oil on toasted baguette for lunch, made my own tea tonight and copied 1875s recent effort with sausages, beans and chips, tattie scone, buttered roll and a mug of tea ( in a forza David Gray mug ) , quite enjoyed it. No brown sauce to be found in house though..

Cheesy pasta for me and youngest today. Trick I learned last year - for sauce heat 300ml double cream and melt 125g of cheddar in. Takes 10 mins to make along with boiling the pasta.

Tastes the absolute damage.

Traditional Mac and Cheese always lists the butter, flour and milk white sauce affair but I watched a program with thon Nadiya bird - who I like - and she recommended bumping the old faithful white felly and just use cheese on its own with a few additions not too unlike yersel. Will give it a bash as saves much phannying about

Stuck 3 chicken breasts in the slow cooker today along with tomatoes, mushrooms, jalapenos, rice and a giant couscous/veg mix. Surprisingly decent altho helped massively by the west indian sauce that was added.

Beef, noodles, garlic and mixed veg stir fry with a sauce including oyster, garlic, kikkoman soy and a dash of jalapeno with a glass of ginger ale and fuck all on the telly.

FFS I'm in america and I have broon sauce :)

Will rectify that, much as I like it don’t use HP much in the house, bacon rolls mainly and rarely eat them.

A Stenhouse Bains pie with broon would certainly go down well though
Bains pies are fuckin magic, too hot tae eat when they’re just oot the oven but too nice no tae try, end up burning yer mooth!

Still cannae bring maserl tae drink out of Forzas cup. still sitting virginal and proud on my shelf.

....made round 2 of my roaringly successful hot chicken stirfry raps. Exactly the same as before, only this time I decided to set a tea towel on fire.
Still.... delighted Iv cooked shit twice this week.

There is one chicken breast left in the packet. This will be passed onto Ruby Plushberry. Casa EGs resident fat moggy.

Tea tonight, some fatter than fusilli type pasta ( I chucked the packet away weeks ago, so fuck only knows what its called in Italy) with a tomato, garlic, herb and chilli sauce with smoked sausage, chorizo and pancetta mixed in, laddie has added grated cheddar to his, drinking a glass or 3 of McGuigans shiraz and listening Roddy Hart on the radio (who is currently playing The Beat!).

Smoked salmon and poached egg roll for a mid morning snack, washed down with a cup of tea.

I buy a load of pork pate in Spain every year and bring it home. I had pate on black pepper oatcakes with dods of picalilli and tomato and chilli relish, a minestrone cup a soup and strawberry greek yogurt, whilst taking a break from work reading the bounce.

Marinating some chicken and making home made burgers for a wee bbq the morns afternoon for me and Mrs P. Hopefully copious amounts will be drunk

Probably attract the ire of EG but had seabass with harissa and green beans, roast peppers, tomatoes and quinoa tonight. Joker ipa to drink, watching nothing was working till about 10pm.
No ire these parts trickster... loving all the posts in this thread.

However, you have posted the word "harissa" twice over 2 days, and I didnt look that fucker up... but now I will have to :43:.

I will however read the rest of the thread first, as Im sure there are other made up cook words for me to check out! :52:

as a side... today, nae brekkie, 2 crisp rolls (rolls were shan, something not quite right with rolls and bread just now). Copious amounts of Earl Grey tea :coffee1: whilst I got my head severely nipped by work colleagues all day.
Decided on no dinner, just tea and j's and now getting wrecked and enjoying the bounce
