What you're eating. What you're drinking. What you're watching?

Eating an eclectic (* fucked up for emerald green) mix of a home made roast ham, med veg mix (sliced peppers, onions, courgettes and baby tomatoes in olive oil, season and bake for half an hour) , yogurt coleslaw, onion gravy and two wee roast tatties fae last night with dijon mustard, served with a chilean red merlot (fae a box) and sniggering at the bounce whilst listening to Ricky Ross do cuntry on the wireless.

Risotto with some greens and salmon for tea, can of Innes and Gunn to wash it down.

120 meals plus shopping supplies etc delivered around Leith to families from Street Soccer, Soulfood and YMCA earlier

Made chicken jalfrezi in the slow cooker with pakora, naan, poppadoms, rice, spiced onions and Indian chutneys, washed down with a bottle of Marstons EPA whilst watching Gorhun Ramsay, Gino DiCampo and Fred Frenchboy tour Europe.

Received delivery from Bross Bagels today for a change of scene.

Worth every penny and will keep me going for a good few days. Massive selection of meats, spreads, veg toppings and really good quality.

£20 minimum order but would be enough for a good few days and they can be frozen and toasted following days

The “small” Pastrami is honestly enough for 6-8 rolls.

A favourite of mine when I was a lad was Milanda bread, lurpak butter, chopped pork and Heinz tomato sauce.
Never had it in years.

Is Milanda bread still made?

Yum, used to live directly across from Milanda ( now car showrooms) we all as nippers rose early to try and earn a buck for the fitba as bread boys. Lurpak butter is the bees knees. Back then though it was stork margarine. Fight for the heel in my house, think I must have won, I'm the most pleasantly plump.

Do you remember the 60's STV advert Demanda Milanda.

BIG G

I can't say I do.
:sm113:

Only bread ads I can readily recall are the numerous Hovis ones (I've walked up and down that hill - it's fcukin steep!!) and the Allisons one wi' the bread wi' nowt taken out.

I'm assuming thats more down to memory than youthfulness.

Couldn't find Demanda Milanda. but Mothers Pride hired some top talent of the time.
Here's three that appeared with their top tunes of the time.
