Good stuff R, I saw Dan Willson many times in the formative years of Withered Hand.Got tickets for Arab Strap in Leith this month and Withered Hand at summerhall
Sounds great.Pixies brilliant as always tonight
Seen them play the Citrus Club about 15 years ago, “we’re 999, get a loadda this!” then just battered through the tracks999 tonight at Bannermans.I presume it's on,nobody has told me otherwise.A top punk band, who never did reach the hights of the Pistols,Jam ,Buzzcocks,or Clash still produced great single after great single. They've only made two lineup changes in all this time.Nick Cash used to be a Kilburn and the High Roads member, a band I mentioned the other day. They've simply put their heads down and kept going because it's a living, with no little amount of success Stateside. You can hear it in the likes of Green Day and Blink 182.Anyway looking forward to tonight.
I should be at the latter two.November
Sensational Alex Harvey Experience - Voodoo Rooms
Small Fakers and Who's Who - Bongo Club
December
Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band - Voodoo Rooms.

Yeah thought the sound was a wee bit ropey but good fun nonetheless.Saw them at the QMU just before Christmas, they were excellent.
You should be in for a treat with Pulp. I've seen them a couple of times and they've never disappointed.Heading along to the Friday at Trnsmt in July with the trouble n strife and some pals. Line-up seems decent enough, Pulp probably the only Britpop-era group I never caught live the first time around.
