What you're eating. What you're drinking. What you're watching?

That’s a given. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for local businesses widening the (decent) beer choices and have spent ? at Bellfield, Stewart and a few others BUT this fad of “goofy” names is a bit OTT

Do you mean like these from the above mentioned Stewart Brewery.

The blurb on the one on the right called Franz reads.......
Like Gary Oldmans Dracula, this lager is very well travelled and sophisticated. Brewed in Scotland, Its a classic bohemian lager at its base with a little peppery spice. Things then start to get mixed up with the cheeky inclusion of some US cascade hops, resulting in a unique spin on the classic style.....

Bob Mortimer would be proud.

Lunch time. 2 Bowls of leek and potato soup, HP sauce and half a crispy baguette.

For afters, St Mungo lager, brewed by the fantastic WEST brewery at Glasgow Green. St Mungo is the only lager brewed in the UK to have been awarded the prestigious German Gold DLG medal.

They do adhere to the Reinheitsgebot, hops barley, water and yeast thang with this splendid lager. Weegie Gold.

DLG is an international non-profit organisation for the Agricultural Industry in Germany, based in Frankfurt.

I probably got a gold medal for being fucking fab. That's all.

Wifey made a tremendous vege curry tonight and suggested a large dollop of mango chutney on the top. Not something I’ve ever considered doing ( like HP in lentil soup) but really worked was tidy.

Lime or brinjal pickle both work too.

Muesli with banana, honey and cold custard ('vla'), cup of fulter coffee and a cheeky pain chocolat - which destroys any good the muesli done me. Bounce-reading and half an ear on telly news afore I head off back into the 30c hell that is outside.

Actually wee bitcooler than that I see on the forecast... phew.

Made chicken soft tacos, drank Deuchars watching Hibs REMAIN top of the league, now on the McGuigans Shiraz Reserve with the radio on, astonished at the amount of Hibs fans moaning when we are top of the Premiership after playing an excellent Motherwell team (much like last year).

Smoked bacon on gluten free rolls and a slice of Howie’s veggie square sausage (as recommended by Big G), glass of OJ and reading the paper

I made a Spanish chicken casserole, chicken, chorizo, red peppers and red onions, paprika, red wine and salt and pepper, served with sliced tatties and med veg, a bar of cadbury's whole nut for pudding, a glass of the good McGuigans Shiraz and a swatch of the bounce whilst listening to Absolute on the transistor.
