What you're eating. What you're drinking. What you're watching?

Two chicken fajita pastries with broon sauce and a glass of juice, and 10 minutes on the bounce.

Big G inspired Vegan Spanakopita Triangle Spinach and Herb Pie from Greek Bakery in Bread street.

Worked with a lot of “Bubbles” not so long back and plenty of Greek Gaffs popping up in different parts of the toon and well worth a try.

Also got some top notch filled Bross bagels and gave a couple of slices of Simon Howie vegan sausage to the parentals to see what they old Duffers make of it.

Kind regards
x
Love a gyros.

The bagel bross lassie is making an absolute fortune selling £6 sandwiches eh?

Aye, I thought it was a bit steep at first but was a serious portion and the old dear managed half for her lunch and the rest later.

I normally buy the bagels and fillings myself and make them up which is really good value as portion sizes are huge. £20 normally for 6 bagels and fillings and will have good bit of the fillings left over from that.

£20 including the fillings is pretty decent, will investigate.

Didn’t think the salads were the tastiest but pastrami is a serious portion and they’ve added a sliced turkey which is decent.

“Small” cheese is minimum 6 slices maybe few more. Pastrami or Turkey easily enough for 6 and usually a few sandwiches thereafter.

The Schmear ? is a must have and chilli mayo a cracker

I usually take the Pretzel style bagels as well

I am making a chilli con carne, bubbling away nicely and ready in 20 minutes or so. Served with tortilla chips, rice and guacamole. Son adds grated cheese, no for me. Slurping a Yellow Tail shiraz, £6 a bottle in Sainsbury's and damned nice. Got Levi Roots Reggae summer playlist on the radio and a new haircut, first professional one since late February.

Salmon skewers, chicken and chorizo skewers, Ham and mushroom pizza, garlic ciabatta and chopped tomatoes, red onion in garlic oil.

Had a few acquaintances round to enjoy the late afternoon dry weather and watch the conclusion of the EPL season which was gash in comparison to the magnificent championship ending once again.

Served up a few 8.4% draft beers to one chap, while the rest of us consumed fizzy pop. I think the two and a half pints of rocket fuel made their mark.

S2 The Sinner. Watched S1 a while back but didn’t do others until now.

Finished Narcos and Narcos Mexico. Watched that NYC mafia 3 parter Netflix were heavily plugging which was just ok.

Maradona in Mexico (Netflix) was really good and thought he did surprisingly well there when probably only brought in for publicity/financial reasons.

All or Nothing (Spurs) on Prime could be a good watch. Obviously won’t be a patch on Budge’s (non) travelling circus show when that gets an airing. Hope they don’t spare her blushes the silly old tart.

Up near Oban. Went to the Oyster Inn, they were struggling to cope. Nae mussels or oysters, had whitebait and fresh haddock then a cheeseboard. Pints of Maltsmiths. All decent BUT one or two of my family had some horrors. Very poor for them. A bill of £130 including 12 pints for 9 of us for three courses and soft drinks. Bargain.
