Well we did declare war on Germany. It wasn't the other way about.

But after WW1 Germany was a basket case. Then someone came along and said we've had enough.

It’s manifestly not what Trump is, whatever else he may be - including a rapist. Musk should be over at Harvard or Stanford with that shtick. As for war mongering, can you be serious? As US presidents go that’s one thing that definitely cannot be stuck on him.

You’re right there is no equivalence; the proud boys got rightly hammered for that while antifa were allowed to take over sections of cities for months on end, pretty much with political protection despite arson and murder.

He’s not done anything to Panama. Like it or not his reckless statements might actually serve the purpose of getting what he wants without wars. The facts as it stands is he was the best president for peace in recent times, last time out. He’s already made a difference in Gaza, to which end that big gob is an asset. Let’s see how it pans out.

Folk die in riots. The democrats called for folk to take to the streets in anger when Trump was president.

Then wailed when folk took to the streets in anger.

It’s not whataboutery, these fandans are the street cadres of democrats and republicans respectively. I doubt the proud boys will be facilitated in the same way, but time will tell - it’s certainly not impossible. But the direction of travel here is America turning its back on race politics. That’s pretty clear from voter shifts and was squarely in the heart of Trump’s speech today.
