I agree. Although if Johnston is out on loan, we’ll need a development keeper to play for that team and act as third choice for the first team.

Even if we do sign this guy, we still need a proper first team back up/challenge for Marshall.

Agreed, I dont think there should be any guaranteed spots at the club, every spot can be up for grabs with the right back up in place.

Marshall cost us too many goals, we need another keeper brought in to challenge him for the jersey.
 
Was just reading Jay Idzes is on our radar, Aberdeen have pulled out because he doesn't seem committed to them anymore.

Are we hijacking them? They've been at him for half a year.

The guy is sensational,built like a tank,ridiculously fast......and is a pretty descent footballer too.

This is a mad story
im working in Rotterdam at minute. Went for a pint to watch Manchester derby few weeks back. Getting a pint and see boy with Hibs top on. Ask we’re from blah blah. I get a text from my son at that point saying Hibs looking at a boy from go ahead eagles. Show the boy in Hibs top. At that point a voice says Hibernian Aberdeen and cadiz after him. This was owner of bar. Both asked how do you know. His reply it’s my son.
weirdest thing ever happened and Likely not believed.

Exactly. If he's such a great prospect that's nothing to every single team in the English premier, or championship. Would imagine it would attract your bayerns and dortmunds as well. More than likely the farms such as city group and red bull.

Would be some pressure on the lad if we did it mind!!
