IMO Le Fondre would be a very good signing.
Hibs need experience, class and finishing power in the last third and he would provide all three having played and scored goals at a decent level most of his career. I also think he would help and bring on the younger forwards at the club.
Yes, he would need to prove his overall fitness and there is no way we could accommodate another McGeady situation, but that's what our medical team are there for, and I doubt the same costly mistake would be made again. I maintain if McGeady had stayed fit for most of last season we would have finished at least one place higher up the league. You could see the difference his experience and quality made to the team when he did play.
Steven Fletcher is the same age as Le Fondre and many fans would like to see him back.
Not sure the Le Fondre thing is going to happen, but I reckon it would be a smart move by the club if they could pull it off.
