Breakfast time here. The hotel we moved to includes a superb brekky (and optional lunch or dinner). Today I had mie goreng (fried noodles), fresh fruit (today’s was melon, papaya and dragon fruit), papaya juice, 2 americanos, listening to the rustle of palm trees and the gentle patter of some unexpected rain as I read the bounce.

Back to Amsterdam in a few hours hopefully, then quick train to Haarlem and a Duvel and pipe of hãsh to relax after a busy day of travel.

They've been very gentle with the toasting, energy prices still a bit lofty there?
Thought you'd get thrown oot for thatCalamari and Chicken Wing starter, soto ayam (Indonesian chicken soup) for my wife and a rib eye, chips and pak choi, washed down with a large Bintang bir for me and Bintang Crystal for the Mrs. Listened to a boy doing an acoustic set whist gazing lovingly into my rib eye.

Loftiest possible! ~€18 for the toasti, €9,50 for the half liter (+/- a pint) and €5 for the withering ephemeral smile for the tip. They've been very gentle with the toasting, energy prices still a bit lofty there?

Coffee, 2 ginger snaps, jealously reading about your Bali scran again. BTW yi missed a great pairty.A last lunch here in Bali. Awfy nice it was too. Mrs 1875 had Indonesian Atam bakar Taliwang (Grilled Chicken) and Sambal Matah, I had chicken cooked in picked onion, carrot, cucumber and chilli, both with boiled rice and washed down with fresh kelapa muda ( young coconut water). Listening to some laid back tunes and waiting to head to the airport for the 24 hour journey home.
Has your homeward flight been disturbed. Mate coming out just been switched from a London-Doha-Bangkok route on Qatar to London-Bangkok direct with Thai airways plus a night in a hotel in London at no cost.A last lunch here in Bali. Hope no hassle and a safe trip then. 45 is certainly pushing it but from experience I can say if you do miss your connection they are very good at meeting you at the gate with your seat tickets for the next available flight.Yes we are leaving Bali at the normal time, but flight from Doha is leaving earlier and we have a 45 transit that will be challenging. Hame later too.
