TRUMP IS A See you next Tuesday

Hmm. Who could be making money out of this? I'm no financial expert but isn't this insider trading or whatever Gordon Gecko got banged up for? 🤔

If you look at the dates on the trades it's not that remarkable. I thought when I saw this she'd done it just before his change in course, but thats not what the dates suggest

Peace in Ukraine. Not the success I promised. What can I do next to distract from this failure. I know.

Start sacking everyone and blame everything on DEI. Fuck, that's a failure too! What can I do to distract from that shitshow?

Tariffs, I'll do tariffs. That'll work!

I was more pointing to the 'speaking at a NASCAR event' and parading musk's cars on the white house lawn, proclaiming "I LOVE TESLERRRRRR"

and of course, saying that the worlds leaders are phoning him 'kissing his ass'

Classless, clueless cuntshovel

With a bit of meddling in foreign elections thrown in.

All this trumpshit going on. Does stuff like this not have to get passed by congress, or are they just as bampottish as their hero 🤷‍♂️

The king does what he wants. No one is stopping him.

He just tanked the world's markets, told people to buy shares then suspended the tariffs to most nations. Isn't that insider trading??

My word of the day " you cuntshovel ".
Love it

This is a neat summation of the whole cycle that Trump seems intent on smashing whatever the disastrous cost; the link between deindustrialisation and the growth in wall street and city types getting rich from the process that beggars blue collar workers.

While we are debating Trump's motives this lot are the democratic party power base so he's not going to be losing much sleep over sticking it to them.

Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas swapped parties sometime in the last 30 years.

Tariffs on China now 145 percent, China saying it wont back down ever to Trumps bullying.

All other countries up Trumps arse according to the US looking for deals.

China will also need to blink as without exports to the USA they're heading for a recession. Their growth is already down from 10% to 5% before all of this tariff stuff.

It’s so hard to tell in this what is calculated, what is opportunistic and what is just bull in a, er, China shop.

But if for the sake of the argument, Trump is now able to get grateful countries back into US centred trading relationships that marginalise China…. Well that would be an interesting outcome.

Poor Donald. Trump has been advocating for tariffs since 1987. Forty years of unshakeable belief undone in less than a week.

I think you continually give Trump WAY too much credit. I think he's a moron. He's a bully, and he's thick as shit. I don't think he's got any strategy per se - surely the ramshackle tariffs prove this? Well, they do imo anyway

I think it's way to be early to be saying he's a failure, or making smart moves. This won't really take effect and play out properly for another 12-24 months I'd guess.

You could be right, time will tell.

However, the thing that gives me pause is this - and please let’s just go with the scenario for the sake of argument for a moment - if you really did want to restore blue collar jobs to the states and / or address national security risks arising from dependence on China… then as berserk as it is, this is what you’d need to do.

You’d need to drive the cost of energy through the floor (largely there with fracking), reduce the tax burden on businesses, and mitigate the labour cost differential with China (ie tariffs). And even then you might need the nuclear option of currency devaluation, which also helps with a gargantuan national debt and associated risks.

I mean you’d need to be a madman to take a swing at it, but….

It’s also why I’m a little torn. If this fails as is likely we can all breath a sigh of relief, but it also means western labour is doomed, there is literally no way out of a brooks bros shoe stamping on a blue collar face forever.

This is why I am open to the possibility he means it. I can’t think of any other reason you’d do it. From the point of view of the interests of the wealthy is just completely batshit. Those wealthy have done a good job persuading us that the only formula that indicates concern for non ‘knowledge workers’ is providing them a welfare drip while the finance guys get rich from offshoring their jobs. Coincidence or not, is what it would look like if you tried to actually return those jobs to them.

Ok, I kinda think I hear what you're saying and I take it. But to me, and my simple brain (not as biggliest as Trump's obv) - it's all well and good saying you want to bring production back to the states, and that's admirable. But do you really think true blue, denim wearing, real patriotic mericans are going to do the work that overseas does, for the same wages?? Surely to Christ prices will go through the roof??

Unless, and I mean this 100% sincerely, unless I'm missing something

Aye ok then. Genius that he is.

Politically i don't think you can at all deny that he isn't. He was an absolute outsider in the Republican primaries for 2016. And was again completely written off when defeated by Biden. I don't think you win two US Presidential elections if you're "thick as shit". And once he does eventually go he'll be shaping the future direction of the Republican Party for a long long time.

You’re not missing anything !

Think back to when we were wee. Speaking of denims I mind my mum re-dying my jeans. How many 2020s kids do you think have encountered that. That’s what western made goods would mean - less stuff, making it last, repairing it.

So the blue collar working class gain, everyone else has to make do with less ‘stuff’. The same dynamic exists though with white collar jobs in the servicing industry. If you want 1% admin fees on your pension, fine - but better hope you don’t have to build it working in the sector, because on those margins it’s off to India we go.

This is the choice; gain as a producer and lose as a consumer, or vice versa. I know which the climate needs us to do!

This is why it’s definitely a bad deal for the wealthy. They just lose cheap stuff and cheap people, and in fact they gain less, because they get a bigger slice of the pie when labour is cheap as buttons. Without being sarcastic, it’s clear where the old left would have stood, but it’s changed days. Left is now right and right is now left. It’s why Wall Street now votes democrat whereas once upon a time they’d have been nailed on GOP

Bollocks. He tapped into Americans blaming everyone that their life was shit and it was China/Russia/Biden fault. He won two terms with unrealistic promises that never could be achieved, then blamed Biden/Russia/China when he didn't get what he wanted.

He's an entitled man child who put tariffs on an island inhabitated by penguins, and thought that when meeting Christian Bale was actually Batman.

He's a fuckwit of the highest order who's lucked his way into a position of supreme power.

But you fanboy all you want dude. Go for it.

It is because of China though, as above. Though the fault lies with the US honchos who gave American jobs and tech to them - including Elon Musk, which is one reason his position is untenable and he’s in a furious bun fight with Trumps tariffs guy.

Politically, that was Clinton and Bush rather than Biden, who tariffed China himself.

Trump did not believe Christian Bale was Batman. I mean come on. And nobody designed tariffs for penguin islands; somebody put 10% baseline into a system somewhere and applied it to every territory on the register. Then they started targetting the ones they cared about. This is is just establishment media bs and doesn’t help in opposing the man or having a realistic view of the world.

If the US wanted to go it alone, where would the metals come from for most of their electronics? Apple phones wouldn’t even exist

Hence the chicanery around Greenland and Ukraine perhaps?

While Chinese and Russian intelligence have been nudging us towards arguing about chicks with dicks - along with entirely home grown whackjobs - China in particular has been busy reintroducing colonialism, and have many African sources sewn up.

The US is now so exposed that I believe they rely on Taiwan and possibly even mainland China even to make their weapons. Now they have depleted their arsenal in Ukraine and Israel / Gaza, their baws really are swinging in the wind if China blockaded Taiwan.

A lot of the mayhem apparently wreaked by Trump is really just the exposure of stuff people were squeezing their eyes tight shut and ignoring. The world as we knew is gone for good. The Chinese have well documented plans to be the dominant power by 2049, the 100th anniversary of their revolution. And they’re well on the way to it, after which there will be no looking back.

I understand people’s strength of feeling about Trump, and share 90% of it, but we have been lulled or gulled by the msm and the money boys for a long time. They have in fact put the west into a (Chinese) tiger’s jaws - India too, though that’s less Hollywood stuff - and it’s now or never to fix some of it. Hence the radicalism of moves both in terms of shifting industry, national defence and positioning for a new age of empires.

I am not trying to persuade anyone they should like Trump - I never will - but it is important to realise where the world is right now, and just why some of these apparently suicidal gambits are being played. We have been doped brave new world style by a system where the boss class have made a fortune by selling us all out. Believe me this not Ryanesque stuff. That fella is busy taking his lead from the aforementioned Russian and Chinese intelligence.

So tell me how he's a political genius mate.
Politics is all about power. Today he's the most powerful person on this planet. Love him or loathe him he's been a political genius to connect (ultimately it doesn't matter how he's connected) with voters to such an extent to win and win big despite everything that was thrown at him by the Democrats desperate to stop him from running let alone winning.

How can China be importing and exporting goods to anyone? They're "Communist".
And yet they are.

They’ve gone from starving tens of millions to death in their disastrous experiments with Marxist economics, to being on the cusp of world domination by adopting capitalist economics while retaining communist totalitarianism. And tbh, unless Trump pulls it off, it looks like a winning formula and a GIRUY to orthodox Marxists and capitalist liberals alike.

I’m tempted to call it ‘real world communism’ evolved through Lenin and Trotsky’s NEP, via Mussolini, to what we have in China today. Fascism is arguably another word for it; state controlled private enterprise (as opposed to racism or whatnot which are nothing to do with fascism per se).

If they're "Communist" then they can't be having monetary relationships with anyone. That would be a contradiction in terms. Therefore they can't be "communist".

Imo he’s either the clown he appears to be or an authentic poltical genius. And I don’t think it’s knowable right now, least of all to him. If he is assassinated (increasingly likely imho) or just makes a cock of it (also highly likely), he’ll be a standing joke wherever captains of industry clink glasses and their progressive stooges fuck up the young.

If on the slim chance he actually does emancipate the working class and reverse the apparently inexorable progress of China’s world domination enterprises…well it will literally change the world.

Time till tell.
