TRUMP IS A See you next Tuesday

Trump raises China tariffs tae 104%.

China ups their tariffs tae 84% for US goods.
200% Donald?

That would suit the American workers just fine Joe. Because the things needed would need to be made in America.

That creates jobs.

Er because they would be too expensive to import.

Plus the rest of the world has stopped trading with them mind.

Components to make things Joe.

Compinents needed for machinery which they used to be able to buy from China but cannot anymore.

All the parts for cars would now need to be made in America rather than imported.

No Joe. What I'm saying is America can still exist without the world trade.

And the world can exist without trading with America.

Exactly. Which is also why the world won't tell America to bolt.

...been reading that the chinese have effectively made plagiarism legal. the US is fucked.
Putin was correct when he recently stated that the US is 15years too late in respect of China and its industrial expansion.

And directly because of what they US did to enable them, and the UK, and France, and Germany etc

A historic disaster.

The ‘bigger picture’?

“Ray Dalio warned that investors are too narrowly fixated on tariffs and not paying enough attention to the bigger “once-in-a-lifetime” breakdown occurring in major monetary, political and geopolitical orders.

Failing to heed those underlying conditions may blindside investors to the biggest disruptions that are still to come, the billionaire founder of Bridgewater Associates wrote in a post on X.

“It is obviously incongruous to have both large trade imbalances and large capital imbalances in a deglobalizing world in which the major players can’t trust that the other major players won’t cut them off from the items they need (which is an American worry) or pay them the money they are owed (which is a Chinese worry),” he wrote.”

My thoughts exactly 🤔😉

What he is saying is that the situation has been getting increasingly unsustainable.

US depend on China for so much it's a threat to them. Meanwhile as a result they are getting so rooked they may one day run out of money to pay China, which is a threat to China.

As the US declines in power and China and Russia rise, these risks increase - for example China has the ability to not quite starve the US but completely feck it nonetheless

Right. Got that now. The fact that China has an unlimited supply of exploited labour will be in their favour as well then.

Hmm. Who could be making money out of this? I'm no financial expert but isn't this insider trading or whatever Gordon Gecko got banged up for? 🤔
