Obviously of a similar era, brilliant. Was ever so slightly addicted to that game and got in bother for downloading it to my works pc!

Can’t recall who said it but whoever wants to leave, leave; we are going through a tricky transition and would far rather we had players who want to play for the jersey.

We’ll be here after many of them have come and gone… including Freddy Adu!!
 
Am gutted with what’s happening to my club. I no longer trust the owners and I do not know where we go from here. The whisky is helping this eve but up for work at 5.30 so one for the road and pray Stubby’s is our new boss.

No objection to players leaving for the right price and at the right time. We've known Ryan is going for months so should have been getting replacement ready. We surely have some planning to cover the sale of the likes of Nisbet. If we don't then the club deserves every bit of criticism coming their way.
We have been desperately unlucky with iinjuries but that's life. Unless we get proactive and get decent players in it will be a grim end to the season. Would help if Ron Gordon actually put his head above the parapit.

I don't think Porto will go now, not if it's true that Nissy is away. Surely with the defence crisis, the money from Nissy sale will be used to keep Porto here till the summer. Even if that's just in the form of accepting we'll get nowt for him in a few months.

I get that folk can go OTT on the forums, but Hibs are in real trouble right now. It’s the quiet, off-forum stuff that really worries me.

For example; my group of STs peaked at 9 from the Scottish Cup through to the end of the last good Lennon season. We are now down to 5. We have NEVER been below 4.

But it’s currently looking like there’s more than a good chance that we’ll get down to 2, and possibly even down to just me. Which would be horrible.

The reason is that, while most of us don’t expect Barcelona/trophies every year, the current feeling is that the club’s custodians are either a) just don’t share our priorities, or b) are simply incompetent, and worse that there doesn’t seem to be evidence of that changing.

It’s been quite a while since we averaged 7/8k regularly. This is the first moment in a long time I’ve felt we might be in danger of drifting back there.

I appreciate that, but the board appear to realise that they've screwed up and will hopefully get the right DOF and give him a free hand to do his job. That's maybe wishful thinking but that's all we have to cling to at the moment.

I certainly don't see the point in repeating the same things (often unsubstantiated) over and over in every thread regardless of the original topic.

We all hope this but the clubs messed up so much over Ron Gordon's rein that we fans are hardly filled with any confidence that they won't screw this up aswell.
 
Was always going to happen.

Take it since we've agreed a fee he's likely already accepted their offer.
 
I think the very minimum we can accept is for both porteous and Nisbet to be replaced before the end of the window. They knew Porteous would be leaving so surely had replacements lined up. Nisbet going wasn't expected but was a possibility. It will be unacceptable if both aren't replaced considering we will get money for both players. We may possibly even get a huge sell on bonus this window if Doig moves to another club.

We were assured by LJ the squad would be stronger at the end of the window …..
 
Nisbet and Porteous are both very decent players but ultimately haven’t had any great impact on Hibernian.

No great derby moments, no derby wins, part of a team that lost twice to St Johnstone at Hampden in the same season, part of a team that has twice lost to Hearts at Hampden… key players in a poor era for the club.
 
It's an absolute joke that so far when we desperately need players...we've signed one.
And getting rid of our 2 best.

I think letting Melkersson go was also a fuck up,as given game time...he will come good.
And now he would get that chance(As a striker...Not attacking midfielder)


No doubt Ron will be down Poundland looking for some crap nobody else wants.

Who are they again? Neither are the calibre of any of our Scottish cup winning squad. They won't be talked about for years by Hibs fans. Let's get some players in that want to play for our great club and achieve something they'll be remembered for.
