There is set to be more clarity in the legislation which will give trans people their own designated changing facilities and keep them out of women's designated changing facilities. Folk who are not women should not be allowed in women's changing areas. Not rocket science just catering for the rights of all.

What are the 'contentious grey areas'? And didn't the Supreme Court provide clarity?

That won't work though. I used to think it was a sensible compromise until I realised that these men don't want a 3rd space as it doesn't validate their identity. Violating women's spaces and having power over women is part of their fetish. They claim a third space is some form of apartheid, akin to racial segregation in the old American South. 🙄

If the legislation is for the provision of facilities for trans women then they will have to use those facilities and not the wome's facilities, there will not be a choice.

It has been pointed out by this judgement that at present there is no legal requirement for the NHS to provide separate changing facilties for trans women so this will need to be addressed to counter where conflicting views between women and trans women, concerning changing facilities, arise.

Potentially. I just wasn't aware of any legislation requiring that separate facilities be provided for trans people.
 
So why is the Dr not changing in female DR’s changing rooms? Instead of the nurses? Why have the female DR’s who back him not say that he can use the facilities that all DR’s use instead of the nurses?
Was he using the male Dr’s changing rooms before he claimed to be female to then use the female nurses facilities?

Makes you wonder why nothing has been asked about it in the courts. There must be a reason he didn’t use the DR’s changing rooms. Wasnt allowed? Thinks he is above nurses? Baffled why it has never been answered but more to the point, asked!!

Good point. Has it been mentioned anywhere that there is separate doctors changing rooms or has that particular hospital gone down the route of shared facilities? I know from my own experiences that doctors and other staff have always had separate changing rooms but in this case who knows?

Because the boys a pervert and there's more likely to be women getting their kit off in the nurses changing room.

I think it's more because he wouldn't try that shit around his peers. He went into the nurses' changing room as it would be harder for them to object to his presence; he could wield power over them.
I'll bet that for all their 'allyship', the female medics wouldn't actually want him in their changing rooms. Bit like that Green councillor who was giving it all the refugees are welcome here but didn't actually want them on her doorstep.

And those bonkers dafties wonder why folk have no respect for politicians.

Pity she couldn't show any empathy with Nurse Peggie who has worked frontline duty helping folk who are ill.

If there is one good thing to come from this (apart from Nurse Peggie being vindicated) then it's how this trans bampottery has caused a backlash against the dafties.

It was said in the original exchanges that the doctor had been staring at nurses in their underwear and that they felt uncomfortable with this. Now, call me old fashioned, but is there anywhere in the UK that has mixed gender changing facilities? A trans woman is still a man and will always be a man and therefore should use male facilities. You can't stretch legislation like a piece of elastic so the decisions will have to be more rigid than some folk would like.
If it ever comes to pass in the future where a trans man can make a woman pregnant and trans woman can conceive and give birth then it may well be deemed a different kettle of pish.

Not quite the same but even 50 years ago there were mixed changing rooms in the clothes shops, one biggish room for everyone.

Certainly gave the young me a ... surprise 😮 😉
