What's wrong mate? Should a geezer be forcing a woman to accept what he says?
 
I read part of the transcript of her cross-examination. Absolutely vile. The sort of stuff you would expect from a 70s rape trial. Like she's in the wrong and the hairy-arsed bloke invading her personal space when she is trying to undress is the real victim. 🤬

Was a joke about you going for breakfast jimmy nowt more. I ken your passionate about this topic, but didnae ken you were passionate about demos.

Im not going to get too involved. There doesnae seem to be any give by either side.

As an aside, was on the phone tae a gunt colleague yesterday (the worst kind, bigotted and rascist) and he started getting into s state about he head of some european countries' FA getting into bother about kissing the female manager of i think that countries female national team. He was frothing about it not being that bad etc, (cant say i mind seeing the offending kiss), and i stated that if that woman felt it was uncomfortable or made her uneasy, then that is the starting point. He didnt get it.

Im a believer in protecting womans spaces.... but i also think that its not my business if someone wishes to be what they want to be.... but that shouldnt then adversley affect others. Some of the things being taught toour young kids is a fecking disaster.

Hopefully non of your lassies was to transgender in the future, but if they did im sure youll love them just the same

That would be their choice mate. But I would understand if laddies parents objected to them sharing the same changing rooms.
 
I think people reading this case will think the world is mad. Aside from the individual issues for the nurse, it's a classic class based approach to support the Doctor. Would they be so vociferous if it was the other way about.

It also enables the Trump's of the world who tag team cases like this with race, sexuality, disability and women's rights to have a war on woke. In other words pushback against social progress.

The dismantling of this foul cult is progress, and all your concocted straw men about disability etc does not change that. Forget for one moment what Trump stands for; what do you stand for? Seems to me either you are against racialism et al, in which case what Trump is doing is for the good, even if he is a cnut. Or you’re in favour of it, which would be a shame.

There has to be only one winner in this. Well the lawyer will do well out of the NHS funds to be fair.

But Sandie Peggie has to win this or the bams will think they have folk on their side.

A doctor who gets weepy because they are misgendered is in the wrong job I would think.
