Big question is could a new regime trust the army who were loyal to the hard-line party? And have been terrorising demonstrators all year. If a new regime comes in they do need army and Police to hold things together..but who can they trust?

Israel are the guvnors at this cyber game. One of the few interesting IT presentations I've ever seen was from this Mossad chick. You couldn't make this up, she was an utter knockout with a filthy laugh. During her talk she suddenly turned on the screen behind her and every cnut in the rooms text chatter was up there. She'd hacked everyone as she was speaking.

Stuxxnet, meanwhile, is the best hack ever.

Was predicted when Ali Khameni gave power to the army that there would then be factions as he was one of the few who could draw loyalty from different sides. I've heard different tales of why the Shah was depossed, some say it was France, some say it was USA. Reasons given include that he put the price of oil up and the West didn't like it so put their weight behind the current evil regime...where have we seen this before? Iraq, Afghanistan etc etc I don't know the truth but it does seem the love of money is indeed the root of all evil
 
I see that in March the CIA declared that Iran was not building a bomb. It was announced by the fat orange lunatic’s spokesperson at the time. The fuckin crackpot has completely dismissed the assessment now. He’s following orders.

It's also incredible how Israel have agents everywhere ready to overthrow government's at a moments notice...wonder how many are in UK

Well yes, but also....more complicated. Much of the wests economic decline even today can be traced back to OPEC fucking us with oil prices in the early 70s. Sure its money but not just about lining pockets, the entire prosperity and fate of nations is tied up in oil.

Guess we will never really know. But Israel were always going after Iran as the head of the beast that is their eternal foe. Not saying Israel are all good, but I can see why they are doing what they are. My wife doesn't though, she is in opposition to everything I see 😃 guess you might get on with her though

Bit close to Ryan territory that. I dont think they do tbh. I dont think they could overthrow Denmark or Peru. I think they are shit hot on neighbours who want to wipe them out and have to be. Given those places tend to be ruled by bams they also have plenty of resistance movements to work with.

Oh I don't doubt he said that and it may be true. But he was also worried or would not be seeking a deal to prevent Iran doing just that.

Israel may be telling the truth or lying, or maybe misunderstanding the intention.of Iran. But somewhere down the line this war was inevitable. Iran and many other people want to see the back of Israel. Many have pled the annihilation of Israel.
Hamas could not afford the weapons they have but for the backing they receive and the culprits according to Israel are st the top level in Iran, and mow we see just how many agents Israel have in Iran, Syria and wherever else leads to a conclusion that they may just be correct. Why then should Israel sit back and constantly let these countries use Hamas as the protagonist?

A few people seem less than up to speed on the whole nature of the conflict and the reasons behind it, which in turn are in large part of a result of Arab attitudes.
