I don't have a degree, and I haven't been made peace envoy to a region I set ablaze (tbf he did resign ten years ago) but i think none of them have answers, and there are none of the kind they want. The world is changing back to what it was always like before American power dominated, and few of them can get their heads round it.
The Israelis and Iranians understand, as do the Russians and Chinese, but it seems harder for those used to being the boss to understand they are no longer the boss. Some on team Trump get it, but I'm not sure they've got the implications, hence their confidence they can make deals which noone else is in a hurry to make.

On one hand I do have some sympathy; their hearts are in the right place and they have no doubt been indoctrinated for decades in an ideology that specifcally attempts to thwart understanding of reality.
On the other hand, they are adults, and that ideology is white supremacist and deeply racist - it hates the Jews, treats blacks and brown people as props, and makes zero attempt to understand or grant that people outside the palace gates have viewpoints of their own.
If they want to go to Gaza they should join a relief agency. If that is not possible due to Israeli constraints, they could join one in Syria, or Lebanon, or Yemen. Those organisations could do with recruits who are not islamists and they are also professionals who do the difficult work on the ground. I mean what kind of thinking leads to the conclusion that a bunch of virtue signallers are going to make a breakthrough that has defied the wit of these agencies?

Whatever the circumstances that would be a great result. I have reconciled myself to the fact that my one time hope that liberal democracy could spring up in that part of the world was foolish and hubristic. A secular strong man is as good as it gets, I suspect.

Much as Tousi TV has an agenda, their coverage of this has been second to none.
