What you're eating. What you're drinking. What you're watching?

And people who have an inkling of what a healthy diet looks like.
There is that too. It was awfy nice I have to say.
Can you eat yoghurt and cheese? One of my sprogs makes a wicked hipster alternative from swishing together feta, chilli flakes and Greek yoghurt into a spread, then slathering on toast (sourdough natch). This is then topped with honey and walnuts.

It's good enough to have me considering a mullet and use of a unicycle to get around.
Yogurt no, cheese yes.

I've eaten all sorts since I came to Thailand. Scorpion, rat, all sorts of insects but 5 minutes ago I just spat out a mouthful of jellyfish! We were at a local market and the wife got all excited when she saw it on sale. Seemingly it's not cooked but lightly pickled. Like a tough old squid but way worse. The aftertaste is lingering. Need 🥃

Ah the auld 'ate a jellyfish' excuse eh? 🙄

C'mon then. You've eaten rat. So does it taste just like chicken? 😖

Cannae see rat as a delicacy taking off over here.

Apart from the Merricks, orcs and plastics of course.

Story behind the rat curry was my sister in law who lives in a small village and scrapes a living was 'gifted' a field rat by her dogs who'd caught it in a rice field. As absolutely nothing is wasted it was promptly butchered and cooked.

I suppose that is what you do when you have nothing.

We are too used to having everything at our fingertips here.

Even get cairry oots delivered to the door now.

Aye they pick up food waste every week in Edinburgh now. Rather shamefully I used my waste food bucket to make paste up to hang wall coverings.

We used to eat squirrels in Britain. They’re basically a rat that climbs trees and looks a lot cuter
They can be vicious wee bastards. A lad I know once had one basically offer him a square go.

That got sorted out with a well aimed pellet from an air rifle.

The fucker are through his new t'interweb cable.

He stayed behind Morrisons next to the woods. He hung the fucker up on the fence to issue a warning to the Young Gillie Squirrels

Hibs squirrel or Aberdeen squirrel?

Doner kebab, can of coke and watching Scotland absolutely mangle lichtie steen .

On my hols in Indonesia, been trying all sorts of things. Today I had a keto salad, with cheese, chicken, avocado, oranges, olives, cashew nuts and lettuce with honey mustard dressing, washed down with freshly made lime, mint and mixed fruit juice, whilst reading the bounce/ Resolution by Irvine Welsh and listening to Athletico Mince/ Kneecap. The salad was superb and healthy after me tanning 10+ local beers and eating a massive burger last night.

Dolce gusto coffee, Jaffa cakes that my missus hid in a drawer, sitting in the sun reading the BOunce and playing bingo.

Was at a wee bit toil this morning so I'm treating myself tonight.

Scranning white pudding supper from The Friers Delight.

Guzzlin a beer as I'm no grafting the morn as I'm attending a funeral.

Watching nightmare tenants and rogue landlords.

Scranning a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes.

Guzzlin some diluting juice.

Watching a young fox lying in the back garden enjoying the sunshine. (aye that horrible orange thing up in the sky that makes life a misery for folk like me.)

Late brunch (retireddontchaknow) of muesli with milk, cold custard ('vla'), apple compôte, extra raisins and honey on top, followed by half a 'buttercake' (full fat cream with kinda almondy filling).

Cup of black coffee, filtered.

Watching WTC, or World Test Championship cricket, SA v Aus.

(Will no doubt wake up soon cos life is great, so)

I went on a 6 mile walk along the beachfront today with the missus. Stopped for brekky and they had a full English! I couldnae not at £2.75 including fresh fruit, fresh juice and coffee. I listened to the sea lap on the beach and enjoyed the hot sun and cool breeze.

Theres no much room left on that plate, oh I see them now next tae the beans. ;))

Not a dig at you sir but exactly what is English about tea?
English Breakfast Tea is simply a blend that was introduced because so many (including myself) do not like the Earl Grey blend which seems to be preferred by those who drink their tea with a raised pinkie. I don't think it's a unique blend anymore as many companies sell it by that name now. It's just what most folk expect when they ask for tea without any further description. A cup of tea or an Earl Grey, vastly different taste.
