David Gray’s ‘Cycle For Autism’ Recap - Hibernian Community Foundation

David was joined by 52 Hibernian FC supporters and members of the Club’s coaching staff as they cycled the 53 miles from Hampden Park to Easter Road Stadium,

Gail has been volunteering with the Hibernian Community Foundation for over 1 year, and in that time she has become a staple of the Wednesday Lunch Club
It’s the people that Gail has met that stands out as her highlight, alongside the sense of satisfaction that comes with a properly organised event!
On her time with HCF so far, Gail said:
“We bring people together in a space where they can be themselves and enjoy time in a comfortable and caring environment. We help people who are dealing with the cost of living crisis, loneliness or any other difficulties by offering a warm and safe space where people can meet and make friends.”

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 - 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻
It’s thanks in large part to Simon Wootton that we’re able to show off the incredible work carried out by our team and volunteers!
Simon has been photographing the best that Hibernian Community Foundation has to offer for 18 months
He believes the work that we do is all about connection and photography plays a major part in that. Speaking on his time with us, Simon said:
“We make a difference with so many things, but it’s mostly about people connecting with each other. It may be something to eat, having a sing or playing sport, but it’s people being close to each other and creating new bonds and friendships that I feel is the most important thing HCF does.”
Simon’s photographs are incredibly important to us. He captures these special moments, and enables us to tell our story to our community and fans.

Stephen has a bit of experience volunteering, it’s fair to say. 11 years in total!
When the previous coach left their post, the Fit4Life sessions were in danger of stopping.
Having gained so much from them himself, Stephen didn't want that to happen, so stepped in to ensure it carried on
Speaking to us, Stephen said:
"𝗛𝗖𝗙 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱.”
