Mulligan is a far more rounded player.

A hard working laddie with alot of drive in the engine room is priceless to a good team.

There was many on here saying how garbage Bowie was and wanting to flog him for £2 million.

They certainly do. Same happening to braga at the pbs. Media campaign to get him sold and get cash in. I hope we have a replacement lined up. We cant afford to lose him and not get a decent replacement in. One or two players in league one i saw a couple of seasons ago were up to his standard. If hibs get a sizeable fee other teams will naturally bump up any asking price for their player. Player inflation is out of control now. Btw that young villa forward looks a star in the making does he not.
 
If he does go, I think we need to replace with a midfielder that doesn't want to run around as much. A Barlaser/Newell ball playing type, but with a bit more aggression.
A player who naturally sits in front of the backline will open this squad up imo.

I'm not sure having 2 gut busters is a good balance.

Abdulai might be supposed to be that guy, but still too early to claim that.
 
If he continues playing and developing as he has started this season, he will get a bigger move than Celtic which will include more money for him and Hibs.
Lots of it’s and buts I know. If a player wants away, it is never good but is that really the case here?
Hibs no longer bend over for the bigots, I can’t see that changing with Chaiwa.
