Aye strikers are usually worth more than midfielders. Bowie was younger too so will be considered to have more “potential”.

You're most likely correct. It could be starting one and thinking after a few chapters that it's a bit dated.

Loved these books back in the day, Wilt, Blott, Porterhouse……. great stuff.

They were fabulous.
But how would they fare with you today?

I'm not sure.

I enjoyed a lot of P.G. Wodehouse stuff decades ago, and not so much when I revisited one some years back. I suspect Tom Sharpe may be in the same boat.

Mulligan is a far more rounded player.

A hard working laddie with alot of drive in the engine room is priceless to a good team.

There was many on here saying how garbage Bowie was and wanting to flog him for £2 million.
