Rumour.

I was thinking the same thing!
JN has played under 4 full time Hibs managers (so far..) and he's failed to stand out in any of the roles he's been given.
So much so that after all that time fans are still arguing about where he should be played to get the best of of him FFS.
He's painfully slow, inconsistent, a liability in the tackle and is by a country mile the worst professional footballer I've ever seen on his "weak" foot!

Nice hair though.
Wonder why 4 different managers give him a game?

Aye Jackson Irvine!
Short stay, but I thought was decent.

Disappointed when he decided he wanted better than Hibs but ended up in like Germanys third tier or something.

Obviously shouldn't be in the McGinn category, but a good footballer.

He signed up for St Pauli who play in the German 2nd tier.
To give you an idea of the league level, last season the league had 5 teams in it whose grounds had a capacity of 50,000 and up.
St Pauli finished 5th, Schalke04 and Werder Bremen were promoted and Hamburg made the play offs so it's fair to say he bettered himself.

Fair enough. I couldn't remember who he went to, thought it was lower.

Did you research everything about the league just to tell me he took a step up? Or do you randomly have knowledge of attendances in the 2nd tier over there?

I know Bundesliga 2 is similar to the English championship for attendances. Had a quick look at wikipedia and saw Irvine is now co captain at St Pauli and that they finished 5th last season behind big clubs.

I had a feeling his attitude was similar to Neil Lennon’s in that he thought he was better than us.

Dined out on a reputation that was far better than he ever showed on the pitch IMO.

File under ‘okay’

Probably a fair assessment.

Neil Lennon grew frustrated with the fact players were limited in ability and arguably didn't get proper backing to cover SJM and Dylan both departing as well as mounting injuries. Familiar story with Hibs managers.

Jackson Irvine just wanted more money end of and only intended to come for a few months. A hipster gone to a hipster team. I was glad Werder Bremen pipped them to second and promotion last season.

Comparing Neil Lennon to Jackson Irvine. FFS....

One definitely wanted to succeed here (and in the main did) whereas the other was an imposter.

Rumour: Rocky Bushiri has had a bad injury at training and is out for a long spell.

On another note regarding a striker...I think we do need one. Preferably one who knows his way around the penalty box and can score goals on a regular basis. Lack of goals or a serious goal threat was our big downfall last season. Still hasn't been addressed properly IMO.

A creative midfielder would also be welcome, however my bet is that they are going to go with what they have in that dept. and just wait till Kyle Magennis gets fully fit. Risky move IMO.

If the rumour about Bushiri is true then we need two central defenders in, maybe one of them on a short term loan.

I hope the Bushiri rumour is bollocks. If it's no were in trouble.

well we need 2 CD now..... Hanlon against Livingston would have been better being a steak in the ground over playing
Hanlon today was just as bad as Hanlon against Livvy

Us and Hearts in for Louis Moult now apparently. This sounds like typical agent bollocks to me.

Strap in folks, I can see us getting linked with all sorts of shite between now and 23.59 tomorrow.
As you say agents playing games.
Anytime i have heard Mount's name since he left Motherwell it has always been prefixed with the word injured.
Another one of the knee and ankle gang. A shame because he was a good player.

Moult would've been brilliant.... 5 or 6 years ago 🥱
2 teams in Scotland need a striker, random names guaranteed to get whored around.
Definitely can't see him coming here. I'm not losing any sleep over it either. We'll have targets we are working on I'm sure.
