I had a look through the thread to see if it was already linked,Billy.
I know it was meant to be for photos here, but some clips are just too good not to share.
And this one must be mesmerising for younger fans to view, along with those old photos of the packed terracings back then.
I love watching it ! Swan loved his fleurs ! 💐
I post it on St Patricks and hope the "lost"Harp above the entrance is noticed ! 😍
Great thread, this is ! Just opened my first Guinness ! 😊

I thoroughly enjoyed watching that, especially seeing Davie Shaw who became our PE teacher in primary school and took a shine to me as I was the only Hibby in the school.

Archie Buchanan worked for Edinburgh Education after his football career .
He was the kipping officer at my secondary school 😂
Lovely big man.
Of course most at my school were Hibby's.
Some though did defect West when they earned bus fares on leaving school.😠
Our register teacher Hugh"Shug"Boyle was one of the few early ST holders at ER.
Let me take a banner into school when we beat Aberdeen to win the Summer Cup.
And it was on the wall next to the "blackboard" in his classroom!
I was his favourite pupil, or rather, favourite hibby !
Happy Days !!

Archie Buchanan was, like some others in the Famous Five championship winning years, an "unsung" hero in those great sides.
Its said a leg break hampered his career and possible national call up.
I didnt kip the school, but use to chat about the Hibees with School Attendance Officer Mr Buchanan, when he visited the school. 😁
My surname ,not any bad behaviour, caught his eye ! This was mid 60s

Be good if someone can find the missing part, with players/staff names.

Anyone on here who's interested in old Hibs stuff and is on Facebook, have a look at the Scottish Football Programme & Memorabilia Fairs page, it has been Hibs week this week and there has been some brilliant items posted.

I think this was taken in the late 1980s, before redevelopment of the ground. The new Leith Academy, just above the stadium, was opened in 1991.

Edit. Just noticed the old style floodlights, removed in 1995.

Remarkable film ,Jimmy 👍
What struck me was the movement, skills and close passing ability from both teams.
Of course ,these guys were top players, but it was more difficult then than now
The ball they played with back then could have a life of its own, depending on pitch conditions and weather.
The balls retained water and became heavier too.
And usually played the whole game with same ball, unless a change at half time ,or the baw burst ! 😁
Notice in that clip how much is played on the deck.
The Hibs Way !! ⚽ 😊

Great film !
GGTTH

Apparently it's only been released recently
Classic archive 👍
The quality is also good .Some times these things decay /
The likes of Pathe News filmed major games and we would see that at the "picturs" 🎥
Oh if only television technology had been further developed in that era.
We would now be able to witness some remarkable archived football .
Particularly our FF league winning teams of course.

And further to St Pats a mate of mine goes regularly. A few years back he told me about the some trophies in St Pats that Hibs had won outright.

So we were having a pint one day and he thought it would be a good idea to chap the door and we go in to see said cups.

These are the trophies.......

The Edinburgh Cup and reserve cup, presented to St. Patrick's Church after Hibernians winning them three times in a row.
They were on show recently at the St. Patrick's Hibs supporters branch agm, held in the Pat Stanton lounge of the Hibs Supporters club, along with other numerous Hibernian artefacts - courtesy of the Hibs Historical Trust.
