Might be a good thing, although i'd have thought McCormack might have got the nod. He's perhaps seen as more of a CH though.

Had a superb game rock solid and good range of passing. McCormack played brilliant when he came on aswell. :applause:

fantastic debut by Hanlon...

a bit nervous with his first few passes but soon settled down...

the way he threw his body in front of the big centre forward at a corner in the first half was real defending...

pity ICT battered him out the game in the second half... he deserved to play the full 90 minutes

A good decision by all accounts, this boy would have been there earlier when Murph was out and Collins chose to put Stevenson in there, where in my opinion he has never had a good game. Well done mixu and hanlon!

an excellent debut

showed a nice touch, bravery and quickness of thought at times to get into the right place to block...

shame the ICT Airdrie clones couldn't let him finish the game

played brilliant was suprised to see him left back played centre mid for hutchie vale was there captain to was a great player then aswell hated playing against him !!

my motm today was sheils but you were a close second

I thought his 1st half performance was solid in everything he done and he got forward every oppertunity he got at 1point the only hibs players in the ICT box haha

Very impressive debut from young Hanlon :bbb:

Made some good tackles/challenges, won a fair share of headers, made himself open to recieve the ball and kept it simple when passing and always found a jersey

did nothing wrong whatsoever i dont think - all you can ask of him - well done lad :applause:

Superb from the guy, he got his tackles cleanly and make some great blocks and intercepts. another for the future :smug: rather him than Gathuessi. have him as back up for Murphy! good luck to him!

Pretty solid throughout the match. Shame he had to go off.

disagree with you there,did not make any nervous or bad or passes,full marks to mixu for taking the young lad off instead of letting him carry on with an injury

One thing i'm more confident now that if murph does head for the exit in jan or indeed before the derby nxt sat i'm 100% positive he will mor than hold his own against the gunts and will handle all they throw at him!

Paul Hanlon's Dad works with a mate of mine, my mate popped round tonight and told me that Hanlon's mum and dad were so proud of their son's performance today, they had tears in their eyes. He also said that Paul had got where he is today with the constant support and encouragement of John Collins!

I was very impressed by him today and liked the way he wasn't afraid to attack either.

Was told that he's scored 6 goals for the reserves?

Impressive stuff.

Very impressed with the young Mr Hanlon the fact that I called him Noteman for 20 Min's along with my mates dumb and dumber was lets say embarrassing ,till a young laddie 10 or 11 tapped me on the shoulder and said his names Hanlon Mr , to which Dumb says to Dumber its fuckin Noteman in the programme and thats what hes getting called OK
