Totally unrelated but the game taking up any precious free time I have at the moment is Balatro. My god it's addictive. Highly recommend if anyone reads this and was thinking of getting it.

I've been avoiding Balatro simply because of the obscene amount of hours I put into Slay the Spire and it looks like it would be similarly addictive.

I'm still playing Silksong. 70+ hours in now and I think I'm near the end of Act 2.... Apparently Act 3 is insanely challenging but I'm not sure how much it could ramp up, it's been absolutely punishing stuff at times so far, so satisfying when you progress though.

Virtually unplayable on Xbox at the moment. Crashes all the time and buggy as fuck. Gonna need to wait on an update and hope it's better.

70 hours, ooft, great effort. Again thats another I made a start on when it came out and just haven't gone back to. Balatro the culprit! Guess thats the beauty of gamepass too, the luxury of being able to do pick up, drop and pick up a game again.

Have seen a few folk talk about Slay the Spire, will defo need to check it out once I'm in and out of balatro rehab.

Be careful. Slay the spire is crack and the biggest time sink of any game I have ever played, in more than 40 years of gaming.

I'm in the middle the first Hollow Knight. Can be challenging.

If you haven't endured them yet, enjoy the Path of Pain, the Colosseum of Fools and the Mantis Lords when you get to them...

Its one of my favourite games I've ever played, and definitely my favourite of the 2D soulslike genre. I was amazed by how engaging an adventure it was too. I was initially put off playing it because of the Tim Burton esque cutetsy-goth aesthetic I'd seen in clips, but it hooked me more than lot of more "mature" fully 3D worlds have.

Not got to those stages yet. Maybe Mantis Lords actually. They now Bow to me.

My 6yo son has gotten right into the movies so he loves watching me play it, his reading isn’t good enough to let him play it himself yet. He did ask me the other day who the Nazis were though 👀😂

Ive only played the first hour or so, no has a chance to commit to it yet.
But I know a few who have finished it and they've nothing bad to say.

A modern interpretation of the turn based system, great story, setting, music....

First hour is depressing though, pretty sure that'll carry on.

I started the first one again because the second is coming to gamepass. Brilliant game but I just can't ever get through it. End up just fast travelling around the map smashing anyone that wants a scrap and taking their gear over and over.
There's a sequence with a priest, that might be my favourite in any game! Come back once you've been through it 😅

I've been aiming to pick up the first STS after a few recommendations on here, but only once I get to a decent completion level on Balatro.. had a look tonight to check how close I am, and clocked my hours spent on the bastard.. I dunno whether to laugh or cry at this:

Wowsers, supreme effort! Aye there you go, it must be some game.. I have to play it!

Hopefully the sequel is as good, the development team there must be buzzing as much as the players ahead of that coming out, its gonna bang...

I've never played it but I've heard it's addicting. Just checked my Arc Raiders time played and it's shocking.

Ooft, another cracking effort! That game looks good, I really need to get playing some other stuff and third-person efforts like that are in my wheelhouse. FPS not so much. Ever in fact, I'm useless. Quite enjoyed a couple of the recent Star wars Jedi (third-person) ones.

45 now reflexes are taking a nose dive. Generally stick to single player games.

Aye I'm the same on the single player games. I think I played Pro Evo online a handful of times about 20 year ago and that was me done 🤣 Very grateful for this roguelike genre coming along!
