Upcoming gigs?

Saw The Chair last night at the Liquid Rooms, supported by Yoko Pwno , great night both were superb

Aye! Everyone in Edinburgh could hear it last night!

My daughter is going tonight. Spare ticket as her boyfriend has been dumped 😆
My daughter got my grandson tickets for his 18th birthday. He’s going Tuesday

Are you looking out your bucket hat and parka, Jack?
She was looking for someone she knew who knew more than 2 lines from 2 songs. Not me then.

There was a suggestion that she'd include on her dating app but fuck that, she'd end up with some drunken middle aged, whiney git with nasal problems 😆

Now she's looking for £400 😆

Billy Dodds is an Oasis fan?

Oasis - Supersonic Saturday night

Having paid the most I’ve ever paid for tickets £140 a pop.

My fear - they’d fall out 😆
Didn’t happen, so no need to look back in anger. ☺

24 song set list - every single one an absolute belter! There’s no many bands you can say that about. 🤔

The gig went exactly the way as expected, one massive sing along from the get go to the end.

Funny!!!
Liam having another pop at Embra Cooncil for slagging off the typical Oasis fan being fat middle aged men 😆🤣🤣🤣🤣Apparently he spouted on Friday night that they should be more grateful as they’d be bringing in one billion to the City, which has been rubbished in some quarters.

By Saturday night one billion had turned into two billion according to Liam 🤣😂🤣😂
Gotta love the guy! 👌👏👏👏👏

Great night had by all, worth every penny spent

The best rock ‘n roll band in the world 👌

Glad you liked it. Liam is an utter prick and Oasis are garbage...just saying 😉

Bit of culture for us on the 25th. Going to see the play “Salt” by Beau Hopkins at Universal Hall, Findhorn. It’s a fantastic little venue - looking forward to it.

Is that in the eco village? If it is I've been there but only for a visit.

Did seem a decent venue though.

Just bought tickets for The Stranglers supported by The Buzzcocks next month at The O2 Academy
Got my tickets a while back. Lost count the number of times I've seen the stranglers. Second only to the skids in number and that's into double figures. Jobson always puts on a show. Much less of a dick as he has matured and tells some good stories especially the one about being asked why the played a u2 song in their set. He of course had to tell them the saints are coming was written by him and stuart Adamson. I believe he wasn't too polite in his reply.🤣

Supposed to be getting tickets for Toots and the Maytals (obviously without Toots) sometime next year.I'll let you know when I know more myself.
I can only dream of seeing Freddie and the Dreamers, search for the Searchers and keep pace with Gerry and the Pacemakers, need to think about the Who and Them :coffee1:

Was over in Dunfermline last week so payed homage to Stuart Adamsons bench in Petrevie Park

Thomas Dolby doing a tour here soon.
Haven’t decided where I’ll go see him but most likely Nashville.
Have seen him on multiple occasions since I think 1982 in ‘rooftops’ club in Glasgow before he had a hit.
Cannae wait for one last show.

Just been to see Belinda Carlisle at the Usher Hall. My wife is a big fan but couldn't go due to being choked with the cold so went with my sister in law.
Cracking show. She has a whole bundle of great songs. 80s power ballad-tastic!

Will probably get tickets for Metallica at Hampden next year as long as it coincides with my work rotations. Been meaning to see them for years so this one seems as good a chance as any.
