It must have some relevance to you? I guessed that it simply confirmed that you were a total cretin, with a joint allegiance to the Gunts and the The Huns (you know, the pretence of having ‘won 55’), but of course there may be some other explanation.

I discounted it being your age or year of birth as that would make you around your mid-sixties, and the chances of someone of that age pretending to be a rival football fan on a fans forum are unlikely, even for the most pathetic simpleton.

Hi there dickhead. Never my intention to impersonate being a Hibs fan. Thought there might be a chance of getting involved in some decent grown up football banter but obviously not with a total moron like you.
55 has got fuck all reference to Sevco, it is indeed, year of birth but kinda think you knew that anyway.

Some things I dont understand obviously and also when I quote what Ukraine claim, I cannot verify all the facts but a couple of recent developments.

A few hours ago there was 3 volleys from the missile system BM-30 Smerch. It wounded 3 Ukranians. The Ukranians responded with one volley..result-70 dead...300 injured...interestingly the website calls Russians 'Orcs'


Also the hacking group Anonymous has taken down the website of the Russian FSB

A novel way to support Ukrabians. Air b&b have accepted $2m of bookings in Ukraine..no one will actually take up the holidays but it is a way to support locals at this time.

I also read in fb or maybe here.. cant remember..where people were writing reviews on russian restaurants..but writing what is actually going on...that will probably have stopped now with lack of external internet now, not sure. But it shows imagination how to get news and money into the places that matter.

Was told earlier by my friend in Ukraine that the goverment for as long as it can will be paying minimum wage guarantees to anyone who lost their jobs due to war. Obviously I dont know how workable that is but if it can work it is a great gesture.

It is. He was in Odessa but has since moved to his parents house several miles west of the city Russians are expected to move onto Odessa soon but will face fierce resistance. However they may choose to launch artillery from their ships in the black sea and combine an amphibious assault to complement ground troops. They already failed trying to land from ships without having land forces there. I have another friend who is in Edinburfh now but her Mother and relations are also in Odessa city.

from what ive seen the resistence has been incredible , long may it continue . I remain confident that someone close to Putin will put a bullet in him . the sooner the better

I've heard of this AirBnB thing and I'm not sure if it will work.

As far as I'm aware they don't pay the host until the guest has confirmed and stuff. So lots of dosh sitting in Airbnbs coffers gathering interest with nowhere to go.

I'm not sure the folk who own two or more hooses is the best place to direct support anyway tbh.
 
The city of Mariupol has been under heavy shelling for 6 days. There was supposed to be a corridor today to get woman and children out .they tried and the Russians kept shelling so they had to turn back. The bombs are getting larger.
Despite this defenders destroyed 3 tanks,
4 armoured cars and infantry

Overall the count by Ukraine defense in the country is 44 planes and 44 helicopters downed.

Meanwhile officials in the region of Nikolaev have said that the Russians do not have enough troops to enforce a puppet council and that few people in the area will vote for a Russian stooge. So short of complete takeover by Russia, their plan just wont work.

100,000 Ukranians have joined the territorial army since start of the conflict


Prada are the latest company to pull out of Russia and Shell have apologised for buying oil from Russia and agreed to donate any profits to humanitarian efforts

I think you might be underestimating the togetherness of the people. For sure some might be a bit crooked or selfish..but the majority will share resources. I imagine the authorities know about this and will make sure money is distributed..that is that no one will be getting rich off it.
Meanwhile in the town near the recently captured power station, fishermen gave locals all their fish for free.

Oh and the CEO of Air b&b has sanctioned this and funds will be sent regardless of anyone staying the night.

It's hard to know what's true and what's propaganda but when I see stuff like this I'm quite content to just believe it. There's a really strong narrative that the Russians are just spectacularly incompetent (albeit there's loads of them so still terribly dangerous and creating tragic consequences) and it does seem like there's plenty evidence to support that being true.

You may be right but if so they're a better people than any other set of people I've ever heard of. So your concerns about the country being put under strain by them coming here as refugees should be assuaged - they'll be a great addition to our country.

I would hope so. I like Ukranians and their work ethic.
I dont know if their better than anyone else though. They have their problems too but this war has thrown people together in the same way the blitz saw Britain come together. Didnt mean no one in Britain was a crook or out for what they could make

The Star ( yup, I know) runs with a theory put forward by UK&US spies that Putin has bowel cancer and this is him leaving a legacy.
 
Visa and Mastercard now not able to be used in Russia. Putin has told Russians they can pay any debts to USA in Rubles

The disparity in casualties,would suggest to me your sources are skewed heavily in favour of the Ukrainians.If it's accurate then fair enough,but it sounds like some Rambo type saying 'my arm hanging off?Mear flesh wound'.

It was a military report maybe the Ukranian military and officials are distorting the truth.
