Watch the original, just started the follow up 'Legacy' seasons.Good show. Is that the latest (and last) one you are talking of?
Nope, he's always a 'has-bean'.Has Sean Bean ever been in anything that he makes it to the end of the film/series?

But left wide open for a second series.Finished This City Is Ours. Excellent though I thought the end was a little unrealistic but don't want to post any spoilers!

Not sure if it has been mentioned, just finished Bosch on Prime. LA homicide cop. Good stuff, excellent supporting characters, especially his partner (the actor played Marlo in The Wire).
I find it strangely soothing in a way I can't explain given the subject matter. I think you've perhaps nailed it here, LA which tbh I have never been particularly drawn too, look lovely in it.The Bosch series is fantastic. I particularly enjoy it because it is filmed in Los Angeles and I love how they make LA look quite nice. The were a few episodes that showed Angels Flight in downtown LA. Started watch Bosch Legacy series three which is pretty good.
Eh? You mean it's NO a gang infested, machine gun toting, shouty screamy place like we usually see with dead bodies laying everywhere and the polis shooting folk? The Bosch series is fantastic. That Irish AccentMobland part 2, very good.
The producers really do have a knack for making Los Angeles look pretty nice. I hardly recognise the place! Sometimes I am a bit harsh on the city of angels and watching Bosch gets me interested in the place. There's a scene that was filmed up at Lake Hollywood on top of the dam. It's hard to believe this beautiful, tranquil area is a stone's throw away from the 101 freeway. I have a love/hate relationship with Los Angeles, lol. It's great watching programs like Columbo or TJ Hooker and seeing familiar places.I find it strangely soothing in a way I can't explain given the subject matter. I was told that is his real accent. I hope he was at the wind up, never heard Brosnan talking so not sureThat Irish Accent![]()
Aye true. But FFS the scenes on the rooftop... It wasn't realistic or believable. But left wide open for a second series.
Aye it was a bit of a pony ending to be fair but I wouldn't say no to a second series.Aye true. But FFS the scenes on the rooftop... It wasn't realistic or believable.
Agreed. I really enjoyed it.Aye it was a bit of a pony ending to be fair but I wouldn't say no to a second series.
Funnily enough I watched the final 1923 yesterday and Helen Mirren's accent was better in that than her accent in Mobland. That Irish Accent![]()

I don’t think I understand LA J. For example perhaps I’m reading too much into your phrasing but you talk of LA as if you are not in it, whereas I thought Burbank was. I don’t really get this ‘City of Burbank’ or ‘City of Compton’ type thing while these places are, I thought anyway, part of LA.The producers really do have a knack for making Los Angeles look pretty nice. Yes, I got quite surprise when I was on wander in Manchester and suddenly found myself confronted with a ‘welcome to Salford’ sign. But of course Man U provide an example of the point ; it should really be Salford United.I would go for the Greater Manchester version. Using what I've read. Like going to Salford and saying your in Manchester isn't a good thing to do.
Aye it’s a rough old place. TBH greater Manchester generally is the edgiest city I’ve spent time in in the UK. There’ll be far shadier places in the sticks I expect, but as far as major cities go that’s the only one where I ever felt I needed always to have my eyes open.Aye and council signs all day City of Salford.
Apparently it was an even meaner place to visit back in the day than it is now.
Remember going into Possilpark in Glasgow in the early 90s. Could have done with air support.Aye it’s a rough old place. Sancho. This is only 20 odd mins but it is a Canadian coast to coast telly show.Remember going into Possilpark in Glasgow in the early 90s. Could have done with air support.![]()

Is LA a city made up of cities or what? Or is it like a super scale Manchester where the actual city of Manchester is pretty wee, but greater Manchester rather big, and often people just refer to the latter as Manchester….
So why are not called L.A. CountyHibee?I pay my property tax to LA County, not to Burbank

The city of Los Angeles is a city unto itself. Los Angeles county consists of a lot of different cities, like Burbank, Compton, Long Beach, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills etc. each city is autonomous and run by their city officials/council. They have their own police departments (Beverly Hills Cop!), sales tax and what not. Los Angeles County dictates property taxes though. I pay my property tax to LA County, not to Burbank. The city of Los Angeles is a pretty big area though.
