Tv series

About half way through series one of Silo.

It's a very impressive set they have built for the show.

You'd have thought some fucker would have invented a lift though.

Apparently that was deliberate. In the book only Silo 1, which controls all the others, has lifts.

Have you ever watched Ted Lasso?

Telly series AND fitba
Very popular with IMDb rating of 8.8. I thought it was a really fun show with great characters. Doesn't really seem to be as popular in the UK. Murmurs of a season 4 in the future.

If anyone hasn't seen Landman yet with Billy Bob Corncob it's worth a watch.

Severance has returned as well for season 2, arguably the best show at moment.

Aye Ted Lasso seemed to pass a lot of folk by. No seen Landman.

But got Severance on my watchlist.

I'm just away to start a series called The Chestnut Man.

Tis a Danish telly show which is getting Barry right ups.
I watched that a couple of years ago. Cannae mind much about it, though thats mare likely tae be my auld age rather than it being shite.

It's worth 1 episode at least. I was dropping off during 2nd episode and I might not be giving it a fair chance. I'll re-watch episode 2 and report back.
I gave this a complete injustice; I watched Episode 2 again tonight, and I missed so much falling asleep in my drunken stupor the other other night - this is rather good.
The gaelic dialogue comes over a bit flat, but it is probably just me being almost 'in tune' with the accent which isnt really going to be any different if they spoke gaelic or english. The flip-flopping between gaelic and english is impressive, the scenery is stunning, and it is very well acted. Chapeau.

An t-Eilean, fucking brilliant. All negative comments hereby rescinded.

Now there's an Irish Gaelic series followed in. Probably pish 😁

I did that but gave in during lockdown (i read the books as they came out and swore i was waiting to read the remainder before watching) It is a marvelous ride until the last couple of episodes.
I watched each season and watched it again before I watched the new season. Done the same with House of the Dragon.

Agreed, though it took me two goes to get into it. @PILTONSTANY it’s not a spoiler to say that it’s such a vast sweep that there is a bit of set up to get through in season one. Stick with it would be my advice. From season two until the late fall of Cav mentioned it’s a good as anything ever made.

Got a mate over here says the same. Will have to give it a go one day after studiously avoiding it for years. Thx for the warning re 1st series.
