Tv series

The Mrs and me binge watched Love and Death on ITV player. True story about an affair which led to murder in the Texas bible belt area. Slow to start but worth sticking with. Brilliant soundtrack from the era its set in (late 70s - very early 80s)
Enjoyed that too - binge watched it over 3 nights.

I'm watching Game of thrones again from the start. Does anything else have a longer intro? Glad of the fast forward

Power watched The Serpent Queen season 1, 3 in on the 2nd season, its decent. Also watched first 2 of Bad Monkey, also decent, up till now.

Don't know if it's been mentioned as I cant be arsed going back through the thread but I'd highly recommend Norsemen on Netflix....its a parody of vikings. It's brilliant. The accents are hilarious and the acting is good. There's 3 seasons but the 3rd season is a prequel which sounds odd but actually works really well once you come to the end.

Is that the comedy one? If it is I watched a few a while ago.

Emergency on channel four, wow, some horrific injuries and how doctors deal with them . If your at all squeamish it’s not for you 😩. Drills, screw drivers, levers etc. Tradesmen as well as doctors 👍👏

See a series 2 of Sherwood is zet for Sunday onwards. Set in the same community, some of the same characters and Robert Lyndsay in the cast.

I hope it's good. Enjoyed the first series but so many good TV series get unnecessary sequels when they prove a ratings succes.

Thanks to recommendations on here I downloaded the first series and am really enjoying it.
I didn't realise there was a first series until I saw there was a second. I'll need to shotgun season one now.

Hope its better than the lager :53:

It was great, I think you'll like it. Brings back memories of the Miners' strike in the 1980s with all the bitterness and strife inside and outside of families.

Different story this time but set in the same mining community, Annesley in North Nottinghamshire, with some of the earlier characters and some new.

Me n'all, starting tonight.
I've watched all of series one and the first two episodes of series two. I thought it was decent and worth watching.

I've been binging a series on Netflix called Santa Clarita Diet - It's a darkish comedy about a woman who gets ill and suddenly can only eat humans. It's a bit more nuanced than that so have a watch - stick with it for a couple of episodes and see if you get in to it.

Also started Kaos on Netflix - a weird tale about the Greek gods set in modern day which I won't even attempt to explain. The only downside is that Jeff Goldblum is in it and I don't rate him as an actor but I'll put up with it.

Try Santa Clarita Diet Billy. It''s about a woman who eats dodgy oysters and turns in to an undead flesh eater - Doesn't sound like a comedy but it has its funny moments

I'll have a look for that the morn.

One caveat about sherwood series 2, another series where police incompetence is to the fore. Even worse than emmerdale police ffs

Just finished s1 ep30 (!!) of Three Body Problem, a chinese effort which was very enjoyable. Different production and way of telling the story, I liked it.

And the science seemed sound to me (no saying much eh, - ed). Some excellent graphics as well.

Did I not read months ago here that there is also an American version of the same story? Anyone here see that?

Seen the US version but not the Chinese one. Liked it. Have read the first two books of the trilogy so not sure how they will approach another series. The second book is set hundreds of years in the future.
