Tv series

After the recommendations on here i never bothered with series 2 and 3.

Series 1 was boss though.

Aye. But watch the film first. Then the TV series shows you how they all met up.

I binge watched the TV series.

Have you watched virgin medias attempt at an Irish crime drama called Darklands?

Looks like Yatube has all the episodes....

@hibbybilly that's me finished all 5 seasons of Fargo, bloody brilliant. I would rank them (best to worst): 1, 3, 5, 2, 4. But they're all very watchable.

Need something else to binge now...
I thought they were all good Kev, but if I was going choose which season was the best, I'd go for 3, but as I say, all good IMHO.

im intrigued to see what Shogun is like - launches on Disnae next week, looks epic

I vaguely remember the tv series and the book from the 80s (I read the old mans copy) - looking forward to this

So, what were the thoughts on Shogun?
for me it was OK, so far. The sets look great, the costumes are amazing, Japanese sounds good, but with it being Disnay, I did think they had tamed down some of the more violent and tasty scenes.
I don't remember much of the original, but I do hope this is not a copy.
At this point I'm not sure if I'll stay the distance, and I might bin it as another Ozark.

Still watching Masters of The Air once a week and enjoying it. Did anyone watch Bill Baileys visit to Western Australia, thoroughly enjoyed that.

I'll look out for the Bill Bailey thing. I think he's one of the most interesting guys on the box. (I could listen to him talking about music for hours).

Does "Our Flag Means Death" get any better? Rave reviews from critics, high audience score on Rotten Tomatoes but I couldn't get through 2 episodes.

Staggeringly unfunny.

Had to google this. First word I saw was ‘quirky’ ….aaaannnd I’m out!

It's one joke as far as I could tell. Soft lad wants to be pirate, other pirates think he's soft... That's it.

I was waiting for the funny version of that gag for about an hour.

I'm the same with Ghosts and Two Doors Down. Keep seeing glowing reviews and hearing how good they are but have barely managed 20 minutes of either. Total Cringe as the young people of today may or may not say.
