It’s nothing new - I remember lots of secretive “coded” phone calls being made to and from rigs when we were either drilling in the reservoir or testing a well. Many got their fingers burned and several lost their livelihoods over it. All small beer compared to the sums being made corruptly by our so-called world leaders though.

Filled up yesterday at Costco L, 1.24 a litre the last time I done it, 1.37 yesterday, not quite as bad but it'll be more the next time I bet.
 
WE have a Shell station as you approach PD , and another on the main rd into town.
Shell has no prices displayed, but the independent garage ( BP) is where that price is on show.
Morrisons and ASDA are a bit 'cheaper'!!!
Over 8 quid / gallon and rising.

Filled up at Morrison’s Phd just now (£1.749) and the BP station on the way home is charging £1.829. ASDA have stopped showing the price so I guess they’re fed up changing the display so often.
 
I thought petrol stations had to show their prices by law???

They are also required to feed into some government thing, that becomes available to the public, so that folk can compare prices in the local area.

I’m guessing the prices are displayed on the pumps which perhaps ticks that box? I’m sticking with Morrison’s anyway.

Sainsbury's is usually the cheapest at least in Edinburgh [unless you go to the self-serve places like Asda]. I might go and top up tomorrow before Trump and his cronies escalate the "war" and get the prices increased again. I'd wager that he's made a small fortune on the stock market out of this.

I don't think it's the money per se (maybe excepting Trump whos finances have been more shaky). I think it's power, preservation and doing really big things. The space projects are a prime example.

I can't understand why some nutter hasn't been recruited to assassinate the orange nutter on the promise that his family will be set up financially for life .
Don't anybody say they tried before because 'that assassination attempt' was bullshit phoney. Nobody could fail to hit that fat orange blob and nobody having been shot at would behave as nonchalantly as he did.

The big fuckin orange rapist recruited some nutter tae take a pot shot at him. He never even fired a gun and a bullet hit Donald in the lug. He's a quick healer though, that lugs grew back in under 2 weeks.😒
