TRUMP IS A See you next Tuesday

Who are the goodies though? A coalition of the upper middle class interests intent on dividing the less well off so as to rule and pump them, inexorably squeezing the life out of democracy and turning truth inside out to gaslight a nation ....well they don't immediately strike me as the good guys. Its not obvious that a single malign behaviour of the Trump bams hasn't been done by them first and with far more power in their side. Im sure there will be some peripheral examples, but not enough to change the fact they are the prime movers.

Well it does if you want to resort to simpleton caricatures. How is this different from saying its all about Raul, a serial rapist, who democrat governors contemptuous of the rule of law, will protect to the detriment of everyone else?
Its dead easy....if Raul is a serial rapist then he goes. it's not a caricature, its real.

the problem is trumpet wants to treat them all the same.....the boy that washes the cars and contributes gets eliminated along wi yon rapist. In most cases before yon rapist who they cannae find.

Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is that 'sanctuary cities' such as LA set out to thwart the law in respect of deportation of any migrants whether complying with positive or negative stereotypes, or the overwhelming majority who fall in between?

It may be that LA's middle class prefer to pay Juan buttons for decades rather than pay proper wages to Miguel who is there legally but this is not a 'victimless act', however sympathetic we are to Juan (and i do agree btw that whatever the circumstances, after 30 years of liberal exploitation such people have earned their right to remain).

Thats not the point though, really. Democrat regimes who reject the rule of law are not just acting for Juan, but also for Raul, and also against Miguel. And we also cant complain about Trump using federal resources to enforce the law when local jefes decide to ignore it, unless we are making the law contingent. But if so, what's the complaint about Trump?

Maybe the folk in LA should stop those mainly peaceful riots would be a start mate 🤔

Don't know if Cummings is just going banzai but at 24.30 he alludes to widespread cover ups of grooming gangs including councils trying to get the government to stop the times investigation that brought the issue into the mainstream.

@Bossie he also explains the ponzi scheme nature of the treasury's mass migration approach, as reflected in the blurb you quoted the other day. Ie they bring migrants in for an immediate tax hit then as they age and go on to be a cost - which on average they very substantially are over a lifetime - they intend to import new waves to cover it. Utterly unsustainable.

It's pretty incredible a lot of the stuff he's been saying recently in interviews. I've not yet watched this latest one but I find it incredible that those on the hard left dismiss him.

The hard left have the same priorities as the free market right. Perhaps they have slightly different motives for that, but the end result is the same. That is why they have ended up as metaphorical strikebreakers. Of course they're going to oppose Cummings shining a light on rape gangs, they want to cover them up.

Absolute bastards. I've no interest in understanding their motives. I'd have them in front of a firing squad.

Sorry @egb_hibs GB News. Won't believe it until I read it in the Guardian or on the BBC. You know, reliable, objective sources.

Links no opening mate. But I did see a couple of politicos had been shot.

A Democratic state politician has been killed and another has been injured after "targeted shootings" in the US, officials say

Melissa Hortman and her husband have been killed, he says. John Hoffman and his wife are recovering after surgery, he adds

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says the attacks at the lawmakers' homes in two towns near Minneapolis "appears to be a politically motivated assassination"

The suspect is believed to have impersonated a police officer and escaped after engaging fire with officers, police say

The shootings took place in Champlin and Brooklyn Park, two neighbouring cities near Minneapolis

A shelter-in-place order has been issued by Brooklyn Park Police Department for a three-mile (4.8 km) radius of Edinburgh Golf Course

The last sentence caused a double take! That's absolutely horrific. Sounds quite organised as well, fake police uniform etc.

RIP

The 'person of interest' in these shootings seems a walking embodiment of the confused clusterfuck that is America right now.

He seems to be:

- a registered republican
- staunchly anti abortion, with abortion providers on his hit list

...probably suggests a picture of a kind, except

- he was previously appointed to work for them by two democrat administrations (including by Tim Walz)
- his car was full of 'no kings' flyers, that being an anti Trump protest that took place across America today

What to make of it all? Fuck knows.

See all the trouble going on in America just now?

Is that an insurrection?

What are you referring to? Protests? The guy who shot the state senator? There's no storming of a political seat of power to stop a peaceful transfer of power. So no.

The no kings riots. They want rid of the trump administration. And they are using violence.

The riots against the deportations. They want rid of the trump administration. And they are using violence.

noun
  1. a violent uprising against an authority or government.
"the insurrection was savagely put down"

"What are you referring to? Protests?"

No. Riots. Just like what is happening over the water just now.

I think you are mixing up protests and trying to overthrow a government. You don't think January 6 was an insurrection. I do. Equally I wouldn't discuss the Southport riots as an insurrection either.

I'm referring to the Oxford dictionary and what they say an insurrection is.

Maybe they are wrong right enough and the meaning of insurrection only applies to certain riots.

Trying to overthrow a government 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A couple of hundred dafties entered a centre of political power. Something the democrat dafties have a wet dream about.

Take to the streets cried the democrats. Show you are angry and want change they wailed.

Wail folk have done what we dream about but they are the wrong type of folk.....

Was it trying to stop the peaceful transfer of power? Was it incited by a president trying to fiddle the election? Talk about false equivalence.

No I'm using my posts the way you use yours Archie.

So rioting against one Capitol is righteous but rioting against another Capitol is insurrection?

🤣🤣🤣🤣

And what, pray tell, of the democrats conspiring with the three letter agencies to aid the Biden campaign and smear the Trump one. The democrats dont need oiks on the street to do their work for them, even if they had any oiks left among their support.

Oh those oik fannies had zero chance of overthrowing anything, and you know it.

Thanks to Morrissey for this.....

There is but one concern
I have just discovered
Some insurrections are bigger than others
Some insurrections are bigger than others
Some insurrection rioters are bigger than other insurrections rioters

The Washington Post article is an opinion piece by a right wing Republican. It is not a news report. The Madison Wisconsin issue was protests about union busting laws and attacks on workers. It was effectively an industrial dispute with workers facing down a hard right governor. It was not about the transfer of power. And the state Capitol was not stormed with the intent of killing a politician.

It was, however, assign of things to come. Aggressive anti union tactics from politicians who try to rush changes through. Pushback from workers. Support for union busting from the Tea party and other republicans. Sarah Plain showing up. In other words a shit show.

I know Trump apologists will do anything to claim Jan 6 was nothing. And part of that is scrabbling around to find examples that they can claim make that point. But Jan 6 was unparalleled and no amount of whataboutery will change that.

And I thought you would be for the workers?

They certainly are. Point well made. Jan 6 was the biggest and worst .

95% of American journalists are liberals iirc. Youve just described most of current affairs output in the US media, albeit im reverse

They were trying to thwart the democratic process Archie. They were celebrated for it by senior democrats

Who has said Jan 6 was nothing? Please feel free to cite anyone here or even anyone in the world. Otherwise please stop making things up. You do it constantly.

Na BLM was the worst for innocent citizens and yep I do support the workers.

The ones in Madison could have destroyed the Capitol and it would have been ok by me as long as workers benefited.

Maybe the rioters at the Capitol in Washington were way ahead of the curve and seen Biden was a dithering fool who wanted to shaft working folk?

Who knows.

And opinion piece or not. A Capitol got stormed but it was by the right (and I'm on their side) type of stormers.

I'm not clear what you mean. I don't support violent protest. Are you saying you are on the side of the January 6 rioters?

I'm saying it was no worse than any other riot that takes place.

Folk venting their frustrations and hatreds.

It happens quite a lot Archie.
