Definitely need to bin Dykes and Adams. The Beeb did an article about all the Scottish strikers that could potentially go to the WC, and that pair scored the lowest on every metric (goals, assists, minutes per goal etc). Bowie scored quite high over the whole season. Ross Stewart, McBurnie, and Tommy Teefal of the Gunts scored the highest. The first 2 Clarke probably won't even have on the plane.

I've definitely been to Maldon. Maybe scouting a cup opponent or watching a player when I was involved in semi-pro stuff in London🤔.
I mind them being just Maldon FC, being at a very low level and being a bus journey & a fair walk from the nearest rail station. Not quite Forfar, but same ballpark. Lots of shite-holes in Saaaahf Essicks were like that. I imagined they all drove Ford Cortinas & had no need of trains.
Cannae mind exactly where Maldon is, but it's deepest Saaaahf Essicks and I'd be confident Reform swept yesterday's elections. Voting was supposed to be in the clubhouse, but the police were turning it over and a polling station had to be arranged elsewhere😂.
Very odd choice of abode for a flamboyant, elderly, gay businessman and his pet miniature poodle.

They've just won their division to get promotion to the Isthmian Premier. Been getting 1,000+ fans for recent games, in a tight title race, taking their average over 900 for the season. As I say, they were in "twa 'n' a dug" territory for gates when I was l there, I'd guess at Essex County League Division 2 level.

Why no statement from the Club as yet? Because the only person now "in charge" can't speak to his crook and very dysfunctional Daddy can he, that's why, so it is totally rudderless.
I'd be keen to hear from any Maldon & Tiptree supporters, were serious concerns really not raised about the way the Club was being run before any of this? Were you not concerned about having only one Director who is the son of an owner? And the obvious lack of accountability that this brings?
Let Maldon and Tiptree FC be a sad, tragic example of why you should never operate a Non league club in this way."
