Man shot in the head according to news outlets, some crazy speculation on the jungle drums. West End in shut down
 
Ah..explains the Police cars when I passed
 
So sad,he had his own way of going about things but had a heart of gold.
 
Listened to his interview on the James English podcast a few weeks ago. Really sounded like he’d turned things around and was doing a lot for charity. Maybe an old beef from the past.
 
Police have confirmed individual is dead in an official statement
 
The online branch of the Daily Ranger have apparently put up a video of the victim's family at the site of the murder via their sister site Edinburgh Live News.

How low can they get?

Hes stirred a lot of shit with bauer media n that too, high up folk. Called out forth ones cash for kids. Maybe he was too close to the truth.

Hadn't realised who it was before..just heard. Knew him only through the boxing and was always a decent guy when I spoke with him. Never knew he was behind the cash for kids accusations. I do know presents do get to some people as I collected stuff for an organisation at Christmas. Anyway condolences to the family; very sad to hear this
 
Truly devastated at this. Was due to pop into the Boxing Club for a chat with the man.
 
That's fucking horrible. Never knew him personally but obviously a boy that cared, and was cared for. Cared for his club, community, city and society as well as obviously those close to him. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.
 
Probably some maniac with a shotgun, unless it was a proper hitman. Just can’t imagine why someone would go to all that bother to do something like that in the middle of Edinburgh.
 
What a tragedy. Was doing so much good through his boxing and training classes and his charity work .A very sad loss especially to the under privileged kids he helped.

RIP Brad, done so much for deprived kids around Edinburgh, hope the person/s involved get what’s coming to them.

Police finally tell us a murder investigation has been open, shouldn’t take the long to catch the wee coward and those involved
