Watching Barry Ferguson's post match interview with the haunted look on his face and really struggling to say anything positive about their performance. He looked shell shocked. It reminded me of those painful days of watching SDG having to say the same thing over and over again desperate to report something positive that the fans would buy into. After the Dundee game he had that same haunted look about him. I and probably a lot on this site really felt for him. A hero, Hibs legend and another good guy clinging on by his fingernails trying to turn it around for himself, the team, the club and most importantly the fans.
Both these managers love their respective clubs but the difference is at no point in all those bad ,underachieving performances did David Gray ever call out players (when he entitled to)or throw them or the board under the bus.
I think personally that his loyalty and faith in this squad of players has been key in the turnaround and camaraderie now being witnessed. We and Hibs are lucky to have such a man here and we should all remember the dark days and the renaissance whatever the future holds for SDG and Hibs.
