I remember reading some of those - hilarious when I was in my teens / early 20s. I think my fav was Riotous Assembly (I think that was one of the South African ones)..

Ancestral Vices it is Gibby.

I enjoyed a lot of P.G. Wodehouse stuff decades ago, and not so much when I revisited one some years back. I suspect Tom Sharpe may be in the same boat.

He's no where near the player he was before the injury at Dunfermline. Maybe his head has been turned with transfer speculation? I would sell at the right release price agreed between the club and him.

Mulligan had a 5-star performance today - compared to how he's been playing in a coupla recent games. But he got a full 90 minutes under his belt and that'll do him a world of good.

The whole “head being turned” thing has never made any sense to me. If there’s genuine interest, as a player at Mulligan’s level you’d be doing everything to ensure a life changing move happened, not less to make the buying club question whether you’re worth it.
