Rumour.

They're both stuck quite young and need some physicality.

I'd definitely be up for including them in the squads, but they're not first team ready. Yet.

I think Laidlaw looks a great player though, he'll likely move on.

Seen them both play against a well organised Dortmund team, Kenny Miller was around their age when he scored the third at the PBS.

Laidlaw is rapid and has great close ball control, something we are lacking at the moment. Josh would be an upgrade on McKirdy in my opinion.

Me too, and a handful of other times.
Was waxing lyrical about Ethan on here during and after that game. Think he's the real deal, or will be.

But they're still too light for first team football, Kenny Miller coming through 25 years ago or whenever it was is a completely different period in football.
They need to strengthen up, Josh Campbell could throw them both around.

I'd prefer to see Josh play than Harry, but mostly due to wanting us to develop our own players before sitting on journeymen or unknown quantities.

See what happens, but if they're both decided to leave then that'll be their mistake. Hopefully.

Not surprised by this at all, think Hibs saw it coming too with the contract extension. Like Doig, Campbell has all the physical attributes to play in Serie A, and enough potentially technically to develop further. Would be a great move for him, an opportunity to develop into a better player.

Great news for the lads in the development squad the club are currently trying to sign on new contracts…

LJ shouldn’t be slavering about transfers in April, there’s a lot to play for and far more pressing issues for him to deal with.

Exactly mate, if he continues to lose on Saturday then the pressure is really back on him especially if Livi win and go above us. Transfers should be the last thing on his mind at the moment.

I don't understand this criticism of LJ forward planning and trying to get a head start on other interested teams.

Moaning for the sake of it.

We are playing in Sunday.

Every season this board is full of people moaning Hibs leave their transfers too far into the window, now they appear to be forward planning and you're still no happy

Nothing wrong with forward planning, talking about it when he’s got massively important games coming up and needs to life his squad for them is counterproductive. And it sends the wrong message to the development players.

Moaning for the sake of it? Maybe, but having sat in the freezing cold through that utter shite he and his team produced on Saturday, I’ll moan that he thinks we’re stupid enough to be detracted by the chat of new signings. The window opens on the first of July FFS, and he’ll be lucky to still be here if he misses out on the top six.

He speaks for the sake of it, it’s a problem.

Nope, don’t agree.

I agree. Over the course of the entire season, Campbell has been our best player for me. Since January, Youan has been excellent and he’s been a massive asset for us. He was sorely missed on Saturday, he’s the only player with genuine pace and drive.

He's better scoring them no? One of the worst performances of the season on Sat. We are a shell of a team without Youan and/or Boyle.

We miss their pace and directness for sure, and their attitude too. Hoppe and McKirdy are so poor in comparison.

My general point was I think we could replace Campbell esp with a large transfer fee coming in. Youan has been excellent, assists and now the goals. How many failed wingers have we had at Hibs over the years? Youan is unique and I think still he has potential to improve further.

I agree. Finding forwards who actually add something to the team is incredibly difficult, hanging on to Youan has to be priority number one for Hibs.

If we get beat against Dundee United that is four consecutive defeats for LJ, I think our league position is more of a priority right now than planning for something that may not be his to choose.

So did I.
Really did not expect us to lose last Saturday.

Exactly mate, there is no consistency, we went on an horrendous run where we couldn’t win in so many games. I still don’t know how he managed to keep his job. If we do lose against Dundee United we are really in trouble and a top six finish will be ours to lose. He surely cannot come back from that if that happens.

Tbf the whole league is a basketcase of inconsistency.

Any one of us could've easily been the third placed team home and dry with any real degree of consistency.

Leagues pish, we're a part of it.

Much rather our players moved to Europe than along the M8. Better for them, and the national side

Watched a video on YouTube recently, it was about Scottish players playing in Italy, both men and Women, it was really good.

We're not getting beat.
This didnae age well, H!

Not crowing though -- I still can't believe we spilt all six points from the last two games. We could have been going into the derby above them, and in fine fettle.

Now they're in turmoil, are in desperate form too, and have punted Neilson and appointed that Ayrshire Hun rat. I think we've all seen Saturday's movie before, eh...

I thought about coming back myself and commenting,
What a state we can be 😩

Yeah they'll be fired up and we'll be passive. Almost guaranteed.

But,
That's not how I roll, Hibs will win 👌
