That's a real shame - I thought Warren was one of our most consistent performers of late and the fact that he wore the armband counted for a lot. Ironically when he first singed alongside Marvin Ekpiteta, I though Marv was the better defender. It took both a while to settle into the squad and then Marv got injured while Warren went on to cement his place.

I quite like him. I don't think being the outside defender of a 3 is his best spot. But he's quietly super consistent. More of an interceptor than a tackler. Wins his headers.
He's better than both Iredale and Obita defensively imo. But that's the opposite side of the 3.

Him and Kerr as a pair would've been good imo.

I was the same, but Ekpiteta was hopeless with the ball at his feet, where Warren was comfortable.
They weren't a good pair. Malkys first 2 signings I think?

Ekpiteta was hopeless. A terrible centre half. Slow and ponderous. To think we'd let Hanlon go to sign him.

Though TBF in both football and politics sometimes I don't think folk appreciate why being economical with the truth is a bit of a necessity TBH. That said some don't half stretch the economical....

The story seems to be they wanted Souttar and Hunco wouldn't sell, so they came for O'Hora.
Would be weird if we went for him and he was allows to leave

John presumably? He’s no wanted at the Huns… still seems unlikely eh? Him or Henderson from Falkirk would be great replacements to be fair

Soapy is still a fine footballer and passer but slower than a week in jail. The Titanic turned faster than him.

I think Josh is a fantastic player to have in your squad. I think because of his fantastic versatility he's been unfairly treated. I do worry we are not using a lot of players because there's no space for them in a system that's hugely dated. I'm not convinced DG will really move on from his system and it'll ultimately be his undoing. 😔

I reckon Josh will get a bigger move from wherever he goes.

Different issue but Isn't it bizzare that all over Europe there's demand for wingers. Clubs now playing proper wingers on both flanks moving away from defensive wing backs... We are a club that doesn't play wingers.

So that's Campbell, O'Hora and Nicky Cadden rumoured to be going.
The consequence of our European exit methinks.
Hope Chaiwa and Mulligan are still Hibs players after 5.00 on Thursday.
We badly need an experienced striker in and a replacement for Warren O'Hora who will take some replacing IMO.

Couldn't agree more. I honestly couldn't tell you what his best position is, he's never really had a run of games in one position. I'm not his biggest fan, but I'm not a hater. If he leaves, we'll be one of those players we look back and regret letting go.
