Rumour.

We're reportedly (by Uncle Rupert's tit-free Score-away Scum🙄 "newspaper") in for Kian Leavy of St. Patrick's Athletic.
He has "Hibs" written all over him! Talented, mercurial... lightweight and a mite inconsistent. There's a player in there!
Sheep also sniffing around him, according to the same Scouseophobic rag.
From what I've seen and heard, the inch-or-so taller and marginally less lightweight Harry Wood of Shelbourne would be a slightly better option, but Leavy could be a useful weapon and would be better value than the Tajikistan, Malawi, Moldova and Barbados internationals that are likely on our radar🙄.

Hope its just his agent trying to drum up some interest and we aren't in for him.

Need to demand at least 4 million for mulligan plus sell on fee if he's going..3 million for mcginn was a fucking joke considering he was being touted for a 50 million move to man United at one point

Really hope Callum Wright is not a replacement for Josh Mulligan.
He was badly missed in the second half of last season, and for me he needs to be back playing regularly again in the Hibs first team.
Next summer should be the time for Hibs to cash in on Josh Mulligan, certainly not now.
By next year he should be a full internationalist as well.

The thing is Hibs can play it cool unless Mulligan pushes for it. Until then let the bidding war happen and soons Hibs valuation is met then hes off.

On Mulligan.
We got him ahead of Hunco? I think allowing him to move when it interests him is part of the deal. Wouldn't expect to see us demanding too outrageously.

Surprise surprise, Aberdeen are also interested. If we sell Mulligan for decent money and get him in it could be good business.

It's like "THE LAW" eh? Anytime Hibs are interested, then the meeja claim Abersheep are too?

If Hibs were trying to (insert unlikely scenario here) the pretty sure Abersheep would be 'competing' and of course the Gunts would have dismissed (the unlikely scenario) as being not biggly enough.

This post probably didn't get the bites you were hoping for.

Suffice to say I'm glad you've got nowt to do with Hibs.
Not looking for "bites."
It's what I consider a fair price for Bowie.
If I were in charge of the Gunts, Sheep or us tomorrow, I had £1.5m to spend on a 9 and Bowie was available at that price, I'd consider him, but I think I'd likely get a better player than Bowie for the price and I wouldn't pay more than £1.5m.

Not even one full season out of Mulligan. I hate the football food chain.
He's not away yet but aye it's becoming a bit shit!

As I said a couple of weeks ago we're even seeing less of the benefits of the academy as youngsters are being sold, albeit for decent money apparently, before they've even made the first team!

The club will see all this as good business.

The supporters will decide if we're up for supporting a business or a historic football club!

I think I'll be a glory hunter this time and follow Tesco!

I wouldn’t presume we are such a giveaway stepping stone club… we are not going to let any player our club treat us as such.
We clearly would sell to the right buyer for the right price…but i doubt we are such an easy club to use mate..

It's not so much about being an easy club to use. But I genuinely thought we snatched him from Hunco, didn't think it was that deal had fell through. So that could've been a sweetener.

On a deal by deal basis I believe we would offer players a pathway out to sway the signature though.

We'll always be a stepping stone club, whether we offer it to players or not.
