Lions on at 11am, worth a watch if for nothing else but to see the maestro Finn Russell at work
Did I say narrow?Australia nowhere near the top side of the past but I expect a much tougher game today. Maybe even a narrow Oz win.
Thanks Joe. I get up in the daft hours to watch Hibs but as much as I love the All Blacks a 4am kick off is asking too much@Bangkokhibby all blacks kicking off v argentina
Watched the first half, boring, don’t see the point in these one - sided games tbhScotland beat USA 85-0

Still counts for stats, does it not . The most tries were mentioned between darcy graham and van de merveThey’re a game for Scotland A not a
full cap game
Aye that was some game eh! Fair enjoyed it. That Mckenzie kick, ooft. What a 2nd half at Murrayfield so far
GC, me and a few mates have for years talked about going to a Magic Weekend. How was it?Heading down on Sunday for the Argentina match.
First ever ( full) international for me.
Been to Murrayfield a couple of times, but that was for the Rugby League Magic weekend.
Nice birthday pressie from my kids.
It was fine. Murrayfield was far too big a venue though. It lacked atmosphere.GC, me and a few mates have for years talked about going to a Magic Weekend. How was it?
Cheers dude. Aye it was Newcastle we fancied and talked about, make a proper weekend of it etc. Good shout on the accomodation, hadn't thought of that as yet. We'd defo be after that rather than driving I think; would smash a breath test if pulled, and not in a good way!It was fine. Murrayfield was far too big a venue though. It lacked atmosphere.
A smaller venue would have been better.
Also attended 2 Grand Finals at Old Trafford.
Totally different gig. Place was full both times, but then it is the biggest rugby league game of the year apart from the Challenge Cup final.
Dont know how the MW works at St James in Newcastle, but its been there a few years now so it must be doing ok.
The accomodation cost goes nuts when its on, so if youre going stay out of the city and travel in.
Unless you're mega rich???
Maybe think of driving down both days?
Not too far from the central belt to do that?
We did look at it a couple of years ago , but the price on hotels etc was crazy.Cheers dude. Aye no doubt. Like you say, best with somewhere a wee bit further out, then just taxi it. Splitting the fares between a bunch of us would work out.We did look at it a couple of years ago , but the price on hotels etc was crazy.
At least double in most cases.
And it will be heavier now what with inflation.
Tha argies willny be easyMurrayfield tomorrow for me.
Peterhead v Montrose today.

Probably with a naked flame.....
