Rugby Union

Lions were pretty complacent

The entire Scottish backs would considerably improve the team
No surprise to me with the involvement of farrel AND johnny ( moany puss ) sexton
Squad :-
England 13 , lets face it they’re not very good
Ireland 15, on the decline
Wales 2, fair enough
Scotland 7 play the best attacking rugby of the home nations ( the nearest to the all - blacks style )
Will never change, heavily weighted towards england no matter how well they are playing 😡
Ireland are well represented, but only because of recent results , although now in decline , thank god, their style is eye bleeding stuff apart from the pony tail guy whose name escapes me ATM 🤔. …….Lowe 😩

The Fin playing Stand Off yesterday is a standard English Stand Off.
The Finn who should play in the tests has more skill, vision and inventiveness in his little finger.
As for the dancing, grinning fart who played full back?
As Greenman oft said 'he'll never be a player As long as there is a hole in his arse'.
He can play, but he ain't no full back.
And where he can play, he's not good enough to lace Finn Russell's boots.

Didn’t even watch it , had an idea of outcome . Pumas are no mugs .

An observation i've had for years. Only Wales and Ireland (tiny bit on the socks) are represented in the British Lions strip.
Scotland and England both play in blue socks, and everybody play's in white shorts.

Anyone looking to give rugby union a look to see if it’s a good watch / worth bothering about, then I suggest the new zealand v France match up tomorrow morning at 8:05 is worth a watch . No boring kick kick style of rugby union there . ( going by previous examples which will hopefully continue ) No interested, no problem 🤣 .

Thanks for the reminder Joe. Even after all these years I still occasionally get caught out by the time difference and miss something. Never Hibs though 👍

Just noticed Scotland are playing the Maori all blacks a bit earlier. I'll probably no bother.

Looks like Scotland were holding on at the end. Never saw it though. I'll not see the NZ game either as we're out. Need to be highlights later.

They were a bit, but they had been on top for large parts of the game.
Considering we were without 8 regular internationals then it's a very good result.

I think so, and also several key players were rested for the games to come.

These kind of games I think are fascinating, going into the last ten minutes with either side capable of a win.

France dropped the ball in an attacking situation with minutes to go but looked like he was hit with the tackle as he got the ball. That’s a frighteningly tight margin for a game to turn on.

That was one reason I wasn't that bothered about watching live.

France always play quite freely.
A bit like Scotland , they give away too many penalties.
But they're always a good watch.

Three dubious decisions against the allblacks though, removed three tries from the scoreboard . New zealand deserved the win overall still no convinced with the scrum half though 🤷‍♂️

Huw Jones, who scored two tries for the lions today was born in Leith , just saying 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Lions apparently awful today, waiting for
Farrell junior to be added to the team and they could implode.

Fin Smith at S/O. Poor.
Replaced by the other Smith who made mistakes.
The only real stand outs were the no 8 , Earl, and double try scorer Jones, but it was an error strewn performance.

Just catching the last ten minutes
Get it on catch up. One of the best games I’ve seen
