What a signing Keith was. A very good striker and a Hibee also. 💚
That Skol Cup win sticks in the memory, it was the first bit of silverware ( major) a club from the capital had brought back to the city since 1972. Which sparked this little ditty.

( yer cupboards are bare, there’s no silverware…..it’s been 40 years in a row….)

I’ll never forget the semi final at Hamdump against Scotland's shame.
One of the best victories and most satisfying.

The final against Dunfy felt like a formality tbh.
I remember Alex Miller who was always taking stick from the supporters being lifted in the air by the players and the fans singing his name. All was forgiven. lol

A brilliant trip to Belgium to face the mighty Anderlecht was our prize and did we enjoy that.

We bussed it from ER to Dover, relieving every service station of its wears en route.

Giving it to the Rangers supporters who were on another ferry alongside ours en route to Denmark.

Skirmishes breaking out in and around Brussels main square ( Grand Place ) with the local Moroccan population.

Celebrating that Darren Jackson goal in the constant vanden stock stadium enclosure with 3/4 thousand fellow Hibees.

Great times. 💚

No players. I thought to myself why no scarfs, rattles and whatnot but this is obviously in the West Stand as it was. It also had me thinking back in 1958 lots of/most(?) folk worked on Saturday mornings. Quite rigid 5½ day week, hardly any bank holidays - it was in 1958 Christmas Day became a bank holiday in Scotland!!!

Probably Hibernian 3 - 2 Falkirk in the League Cup so happy drinking afterwards 😄
