I'm not convinced we have. Can't find one.

Just wait and see what happens over the next week. The video wearing old kits made sense to me.

If we use that as evidence of Joma leaving, because they wouldn't let us show Adidas.
Why would Reebok?
And if it's Adidas and not Reebok, why would Adidas let us use Le Coq Sportif.


None of it makes sense.

Here's a photo of Jamie McGrath being unveiled as a Hibs player officially after signing a pre contract in February. He's holding the prior seasons shirt.

We shall wait and see what occurs. I don't blame anyone for thinking there's been a change though. Same old patter with our football club absolutely zero communication with the supporters.

Okay, that's fair. Is that photo a Hibs release or a newspaper who's thrown a kit at him?

On the second part though, should the club need to communicate that we've not changed kit supplier when we've got a deal in place?

The lack of communication would be if we had changed, not the other way around surely?

It's on his own Instagram account mate.

It depends really mate. You can look at it as a lack of communication either way. Was like the anniversary kit last season that dragged on for about 4 months, no one knew what was happening.

Joma are not under administration or going out of business etc. According to Google they're performing exceptionally well at the moment which gives no reason to exit a contract pencilled until the end of 29/30. A kit deal is a bit different to player/manager movement where there would need to be a valid reason for breaking contract which would probably come at a loss for the club. I'm not the biggest fan I have to say.

I'd rather have LCS back but they don't operate in the UK it seems. They've scaled back significantly over the years.

What we know is the club are managing all merchandise in house moving forward instead of via a third party which is what they'll be prepping for just now.

Very true but a company could buy out another companies contract to manufacture the strips! Loved LCS aswell they never made a bad kit.

We're all entitled to our opinion doc. I personally don't think it looks anything like a darkheid top it's ten times smarter than any shite they've ever put out the horrible fuckers.

Renewal wouldn't be any less than that, still got 4 seasons on the books.
So that would be over £1.2 million to buy it out, plus then pay their own?

That means the new deal would be worth at a minimum, 300k per season, plus the 300k per season they've just bought out.

Good way to hurt yourself if you're Reebok or whoever else. And changes how we should look at how much our deal is worth. Because if someone is willing to pay that extra, then out kit is worth that extra.

I expected it to be in the making for a while,
I just didn't think it would've stayed quiet for so long. So thought it was stories.

When i posted this thread it was a pic from a mate.
Had no inkling at all about anything, i was just curious.
My laddie just said to me, “see we we have Reebok now, i forgot to tell you they had been working on a deal since April” 🤪
