Won't bother the new person. The next one was looked over for Liz truss. Would you start on that basis?
The Tory membership would never vote for Sunak. Old folk with blue rinses, regimental blazers and big gardens don’t like brown facesIn order for them to have any faint hope of winning the election in 2024 it will be Sunak.
Problem is half the tory membership and their MP's blame him for knifing Boris Johnson.
I still think it will be him though...if not him then Mordaunt or Hunt...although I think Hunt will want to stay as chancellor in a Sunak government.
There really should be an election now though...however they won't call one when they are so far behind Labour in the polls.
Well they didn't the last time right enough. The Tory membership would never vote for Sunak. Old folk with blue rinses, regimental blazers and big gardens don’t like brown faces
Hunts ruled himself out.In order for them to have any faint hope of winning the election in 2024 it will be Sunak.

The membership seems to be made up of 200,000+ retirees in the Home Counties so Sunak doesn't have a chance even though he's their best chance of winning the next election.
They are so far behind in the polls that I think the only one that would be willing to touch it with a barge pole is Boris.
Does anyone actually know the demographics, I suspect there are lot more northern tory members than we would expect nowadays.
The lettuce

Can you say people of colour nowadays...you racist youProbably, but I’ve got to say I think the analysis that they won’t vote for someone based on their skin colour is spot on.
Most diverse cabinet they said…and in days she managed to sack the high ranking people of colour.

He's Purple & Green - if ever there was a person of colour...Can you say people of colour nowadays...you racist you![]()

Of the total membership, 63% are male. According to the ONS, the UK is 49% male
The membership is concentrated in London and the South of England, with 56% living in those areas. Just 6% of members live in Scotland.
Although you, or indeed I, could argue that 2 months of limbo caused as much damage.Much as the lettuce thing is funny, in reality I actually would choose the lettuce as PM over the rest of them. The best thing about the previous leadership contest was that for two months they didn't do anything and thus couldn't make a c**t of anything. They should just install the lettuce as caretaker PM and have a two year leadership contest so they don't make matters any worse before the next election.
