This is now being rolled out to all petrol stations, however i'm a bit confused.

Apparently all cars older than 2011 can't use it.
My Vauxhall Vectra is 2007 so I presume I will still have to use the older petrol E5 I think it is ?

I assume all petrol stations are still going to have the old style petrol as well as the E-10 ?

Some do some don’t. Shell extra and other more expensive fuels are still E5.

My local Sainsbury’s still does E5, the Morrison’s 200 yards further along doesn’t.

E5 still available if the petrol station sells over 3 million litres per year.

Depends on the make and model of older car e.g only 2 Toyotas since 2000 can't use it.
As for Vauxhall

Vauxhall

E10 petrol is cleared for use in all Vauxhall vehicles with petrol engines, excluding:
  • Models with the 2.2 litre direct injection petrol engine, motor code: Z22YH (Vectra, Signum, Zafira) which should continue to use E5 petrol.

Eventually will be phased out and older cars will need converted, some will no even be able too, same goes with the plan to change natural gas to hydrogen in the future, certain older boilers will not run on it at all, newer boilers will need converted, a bit like the old towns gas when natural gas was introduced.

super unleaded will stay E5 bit dearer but i don`t mind as i have a couple of old classic motorbikes
