Suppose if you say happy new years your saying happy for the rest of your life, not just happy for another year . Sounds weird thoughWhen did saying "New Years" become a thing? It's everywhere. Drives me mad. Or is it only Scots who say "New Year" and I just haven't noticed?
My son went in the huff and told me language evolves when I asked why they've went all American or wherever the it started. When did saying "New Years" become a thing? It's everywhere. Drives me mad. Or is it only Scots who say "New Year" and I just haven't noticed?
I’m guessing the woman croaked whilst on holiday and the ticket was already paid for. Certainly cheaper than a repatriation flight.Or folk who take a dead rellie on board.
It's from the Daily Mail so it might no be true....

This this thisity this. Happened to me flying back from LA. The folk in front actually had the extra leg room seats in front of the bulkhead. They complained to the cabin crew that I wouldn't let them put my seat back. I literally couldn't as my knees were jammed against the seat back anyway. I'd had 4 JDs and complementary wine so didn't hold back. Offered to swap seats with them. Funnily enough they didn't fancy that. Stewardess suggested I could put my seat back too. Like that would make me shorter.Fuckers who put their seats back on long distance flights. Try it with me and I will declare war on the back of their seats using my knees as weapons
Was thinking the same. Expect it to appear as a tip in the next Martin Lewis telly showI’m guessing the woman croaked whilst on holiday and the ticket was already paid for. Certainly cheaper than a repatriation flight.

My mate and I were talking about this. Whats the effin point?Footballers raising an arm before they take a corner. I've always felt its just something they think they should do. A very decent amateur footballer I worked with admitted he raised his arm every time but didn't know why.
Nicky Cadden has just taken 4 very different corners but raised his right arm every time![]()
