Little things that annoy you.

Why, when you crack an egg into a pan does the yolk not stay in the middle, but always goes to the side. Annoys the shit out of me.
Also, why do drivers lean to the side when turning a corner. Never understood that :puzzledsmiley::puzzledsmiley::puzzledsmiley:

You need a new pan. It's the pan causing the problem.
Drivers leaning into corners is centuries old. It's a legacy from the era of horse riding as a form of travel.
In the times before saddles, horsemen had to lean forward ,and to the side in order to point the horse in the right direction.
It made a comeback with the introduction of BMW and AUDI motor vehicles.
The driver leaning tells you which direction they're going.

Hence no need for indicators!
Cheers - one of life's mysteries solved.

I'm glad you cleared that up for me. I'll be able to sleep tonight.😴🛌💤

Well it's a small annoyance for me but a big annoyance to the driver.

Ordered my food shop on the Iceland app last night and their driver has just delivered.

The company has done away with plastic bags so you get your food delivered in the plastic delivery trays they store your scran on.

Once at the door you unload said trays yourself as the geezer has to stand and wait until you have done so.*

I asked him about delivering to flats or houses in common stairs and he told me the customer has to come down and collect their messages from the front door.

He was pretty pissed off by the new rules.

*I think if you have a bad disability then he needs to carry the trays into your hoose to be fair.

The organised customer has a few bags to put the messages in. Some of the 'disabled' expect their messages put away for them. I used to tell them I'm not their home help.

I thought most beers come in easy lift boxes these days?

Tell you what Billy. All the goods are in their own trays. Tins in one bakery in another etc.

So the geezer arrives at Moredun Hoose and the customer is 10 floors up. He can't take the trays to the lift in case they get chored.

So now the customer has to head down with plenty of carrier bags to pack.

Jobs no a good u'n for the driver as he is going to get the grief.

And if it's a lassie with two wee bairns that's in on their own then the bairns need to head down as well.

A nice wee reminder I only have a couple of bottles left in the fridge. :dug:

Getting your post removed in the grauniad because you said that fascism coming to America may be a good thing because it would get rid of smashed avocado on sourdough.

Adult cyclist's on the pavement and dog walker's with those extended leads, on the pavement., keep it for the park.

Hate these extended leads. You should be one with your dog so only need a sort lead. Train your dog so you don't need a long lead. I make exceptions for rescue dogs who may have had a bad time previously.

I have a long line for my 2nd rescue dog (not one of those extenders) who, after 5 years is now able to be off lead on Carrick Knowe GC of a morning.

On the down side sunrise now happens after I get home 😔

I admire greatly anyone who takes on a rescue dog given what they might have been through. Must take an extraordinary amount of patience. Kudos to you.

My last wee dug was a rescue dug. No long after we got her I came hame from my work and was taking my belt off and she tried to crawl under the settee. I took it that she's been hit with a belt before.

It's a fucker going to the place in West Calder and seeing all the poor dugs.

Mind when you used to need a licence to have a dug.

Now you need a licence for a telly but no a living thing.

My neighbour has a Romanian request dog. Lovely thing. My late doggy and him used to bark at each other in the evening when out for a pee even though we're a few doors away. Hysterical listening to them having their own wee conversation.

Looks like a wee darling of a dog. the one I met on hols was so bright and bubbly. Everbody wanted to pat him so i think the owners walk would have taken ages.🤣
