Jefferies

You don’t wish that on anyone, have to say on the many occasions being in his company and speaking with him at events, always came across as a sensible and pragmatic guy, spoke his mind and respected others opinions. Hope he gets through this. I hope a message from our Club on Sunday either in the match day prog or a verbal recognition reflects despite our rivalry our thoughts.

Jim Jefferies and heart attack..... not a usual connection.
Thanks for your contribution to one of our finest ever results you Gunt fud.

Having said that, all the best and I hope you recover well and fully.
And see another 0-7.

I see Bobby Prentice died yesterday - a Gunt who older Bouncers may remember as quite a decent left winger. He was the Gunt version of Arthur Duncan.
Played in the days that a player would stick with one club for most of their career.

Only 65 too.

I saw that, he was a decent player.

"We've got Bobby Bobby Bobby Bobby Prentice, on the wing on the wing" was the terracing chant for him.

Aye, he was a tidy player Prentice, a lot of good left wingers around at that time, sorry to hear he had passed away. Let’s hope it’s recognised by our Club on Sunday with the appropriate gesture of remembrance.

JJ was the last man to win a trophy at HoMFC through honest means. Albeit their debt around then did multiply also.

Just not to the same extent as the financial crime fuelled era of Romanov.

Really good player was Rab Prentice...remember one particular derby at ER when i was about 10 or 11, and he scored a great equaliser cutting in from the wing to give the gunts an undeserved 1-1 draw at Easter Road.

RIP Rab
