Good. Her books suck balls. Couldn't care less.Should Sally Rooney have her books effectively banned in the UK under anti-terror legislation? - UK has gone mental One of Our Most Celebrated Authors Has Had Her Books Effectively Banned in the U.K. This Is Absurd.
Haven't read her stuff, not really the point if it's any good or not....Good. Her books suck balls. Couldn't care less.
Would you be so sanguine if she was publicly donating money to Hamas, Hezbollah or the p-IRA? She has chosen to support a proscribed terrorist organisation. FAFO.Haven't read her stuff, not really the point if it's any good or not....
Yep, she has admitted the profits will go to a proscribed organisationShould Sally Rooney have her books effectively banned in the UK under anti-terror legislation? - UK has gone mental One of Our Most Celebrated Authors Has Had Her Books Effectively Banned in the U.K. This Is Absurd.
If you think PA spray painting weapons factories makes them comparible to those others god help you man. That's criminal damage not terrorism. That the labour govt equate them is no reason for the rest of us to take leave of our senses. The UN has it right in their critique of the govt proscription, we can only hope the supreme court concludes likewise. When the state criminalises membership, fundraising, or even vocal or cardboard sign support for a group like PA, that to me is a massive over reach of state power and a threat to the right to free speech and I suspect you'd be (rightly) miffed if other protest groups with whom you might be more sympathetic were also proscribed on the same basis.Would you be so sanguine if she was publicly donating money to Hamas, Hezbollah or the p-IRA? She has chosen to support a proscribed terrorist organisation. FAFO.
I’ve traveled Israel and Palestinian extensively ( not Gazza) on my British passport, never heard any backlash. This is quite sinister in my view. The bizzies overstepping again.....
You can now be treated as a terrorist just for visiting Israel
The police and Prevent investigated mum of two Holly Passmore for showing an interest in ‘Jewish issues’.
It emerged that she had been reported to Prevent, the UK government’s counter-extremism programme.
Her ‘crime’? According to a police intelligence report she later obtained, an anonymous referral claimed she ‘over-identified with the conflict between Israel and Palestine’ and was ‘supportive of Israel to the point that she has travelled to Israel’.

Probably fine if you visit but somebody will be reporting when you broadcast where you've been and why.I’ve traveled Israel and Palestinian extensively ( not Gazza) on my British passport, never heard any backlash.
On entering Israel they don’t stamp your passport. You get a stamped slip to put inside it, and told to throw it away if you’re visiting any Arab countries later.
So not sure if Israel share with other countries that you have been there.
